looks like it was actually a 4.0; the 2.7 came just before the larger one; that’s getting more significant

Isn’t USGS also showing a mag 4.0 quake about a minute earlier than the 2.7, in nearly the same location?

Yep, me too, the epicenter was in the Illegal alien condo complex on Monument Blvd.

The 2.7 is probably an aftershock of the 4.0 one thats usually how it works..big one followed by tiny one

right, so the larger one came first, then a smaller aftershock; interesting that usgs had the aftershock up first, then posted the larger 4.0; we must have felt the 4.0

Thank you just rattled because I’m on the second floor of an apartment complex. So being upstairs and knowing our complex building could be condemned in a few years down the road, I feel uneasy just riding it out. Just like now, I was ready to run outside and down the stairs which is like 12 steps, because I don’t want to be in this building when the big one hits.

It is now been reported that it was a 4.0 and the Epicenter was Concord, CA so that is a pretty good jolt.

At Oakmead Drive.

It used to be called Village Green Apartments. It belonged to Merle Hall, who once was Mayor of Walnut Creek back in the ‘80s.

Ok looks like 2 immediately after another. The first one was the 4.0 then came a 2.7 right after another.

IT had to be pretty small to not be felt here. We’ve got to be fifty miles south of napa...and that quake shook things up quite noticeably here!

Around about Late April and Mid October seem to be the big quake periods if I remember correctly.

either the time on the usgs servers are off or the time on FR’s server are off - my post was at 12:46 past the hour but usgs is reporting that the first of the two quakes occurred at 13:19 past the hour.

"East Bay" is hardly NorCal, mate. I'm in Norcal, in the mountains east of Redding and Corning and didn't feel a thing.

Keep us updated. And God bless.
I still see posts saying bad things happening in CA ad NY couldn’t happen to a more deserving place.
That’s not good. Lots of freepers in both, and we are still one country. If and until that changes, NO damage in America is ever good.
