Re: ‘Trolls are reportedly expected to manage multiple fake accounts and post on news articles 50 times a day, often with sentiments as simplistic as “Putin makes Obama look stupid and weak!”’

A comment like “Putin makes Obama look stupid and weak!” is just an attempt to win over people on the right. A way to add credibility to the pro-Russia BS.

None of the above stands any logical evaluation, sorry.
There was no obvious long-standing negative effect on economy following this awful disaster.
Even the stock market has recovered by November.
And don’t say Russia benefited from US involvement in both Afghanistan and Iraq because it is plain stupid.
The first was the massive loss of Russian influence in Central Asia, as for Iraq it was a major Russian client in Middle East.

LOL. You can praise Obama and taunt Putin to win over people on the left! It would be a fair game.

I am joking of course.

Now tell me how all you have posted here are any related to a thread which is about Tsarnaev trial?

The US being bogged down in a long costly war would absolutely benefit Russia as they seek to regain military status and position on the world stage.

If you’re going to quote me, or anyone else here, learn how to do it correctly. There are several ways to distinguish comments you make from those of the person you are responding to. Italicization is one such way.

Russia definitely benefited from the overthrow of the Taliban and the rise of the Russian-allied “Northern Alliance.”
