Voters don’t care if Hillary is honest... they care whether she’ll keep the gravy train running. Integrity isn’t a player when the candidate is a democrat, because the voters, with a deep reservoir of warm forgiveness for liberals, will keep the bar low for them. Standards only apply to Republican candidates.
Exactly. They don't care about qualifications anymore. Nowadays, it's all about two things: 1) Whether that candidate is aligned with their political leanings, past record be damned; and 2) Who will keep the freebies coming.
Now that the Cabal has declared the Clintons personae non gratae, the gullible public goes along with that too.
Americans are following the Cabal like sheep to the slaughter. This is much more frightening than the worthless Clintons.

Last night on another thread in which somebody posted a pic of Boss Hogg and Sheriff Rosco P Coltrane (from the TV show “The Dukes of Hazzard”), I remarked that if only Boss Hogg had doled out EBT cards to the populace and corporate welfare to Chamber of Commerce buddies, the Dukes would have had a virtually impossible fight against him, lol.

The whole ‘cult of personality’ that “O” has run and succeeded with works for most Liberal candidates... because for them, competence, character and experience can NEVER be part of the equation. They can do this because the MSM is complicit in their criminality and inexperience and will never properly vet Liberal candidates.
However, Evita has SUCH an abrasive, disagreeable and unpalatable persona and SUCH a vile and demonstrably criminal record that she can’t be presented as a ‘cult hero’ of any description to anyone so the MSM cannot effectively gild over all the smut and corruption.
She’s really at a disadvantage here. She’ll actually have to run and measure up to the same absolute and rigid standards that Conservative candidates are held to, all the time….
Now she’ll see how it is for Conservatives.
The only people for whom she IS a cult hero, and this is a benefit to her, are divorced, feminist, low information, ‘disaffected’ minorities and other marginal female elements … none of which groups alone are sufficient numbers, but which TOGETHER make a real chunk of American voters.
That’s how I see her. But none of that matters if she can’t be nominated. She’ll have trouble with that because fighting all the scandals in the media, she can’t get any traction.
I suspect her “husband’s” trip to Africa with the daughter and all his criminal donors was just something he contrived to meet with them PRIVATELY and prearrange the whole constellation of lies and jive she’ll need, to begin answering reporters, addressing issues which will inevitably arise and to begin campaigning in earnest!
We’ll see how good a job Billy Boy did in setting the stage for THAT performance once she begins facing the predictably dangerous terrain coming up!

The country would be showing signs of improving if a poll showed at least 60% believed any candidate with a (D) behind their name was untrustworthy.

Tell me how the name Klinton and trust can be in the same sentence? Seriously! HOW in their right mind would vote for this woman?? Okay, I answered my own question, “right minds”. Okay.
The only thing any of us get out of Republicans is perception of integrity. Sure Hillery is a criminal, but she’s going to give me free stuff: the Unions will get why they want, the Sodomites will get what they want, race hustlers, college Marxists, Gaia worshipers, big corporations, will get everything they want. What do we get out of our Republicans? Liberty, sanctity of life, security, a better culture, reprieve from big-government? No. Perceived integrity. That’s it.
But think about it. If your choice is between a Republican and a candidate who you knew would do those three things, why would you vote for the Republican? I have student loans. I’d love for them to be forgiven. Oh, I’d rather have liberty and be free of burdensome regulations, but there isn’t a party who stands for liberty and small government, just one who stands for less free stuff.
You see what I’m saying?
