Good point. Remember our campuses, shopping malls, office buildings are “gun-free zones.” Nothing like putting a target on yourself.
Every single state in the country has its vulnerable spots. It helps that concealed and open carry are legal in every city in Michigan and in public schools (with some restrictions) but there are soft spots.
Most of the universities proudly declare that they’re prey animals. Plenty of businesses are the same way depending on the owners.
Structural targets are tougher but can impact trade.
