And each seat likely has a lower population than most every seat in the rest of the UK. The Uk should redraw their districts to make them more population equal, but then Scotland would vote for independence and leave the UK anyway.

Yes, and the SNP MPs are still sitting on the back benches.

“The only thing they seem to be able to think of to do with “their” oil money is to convert it over into the Scottish equivalent of EBT payments.”

And oil prices are way down since they had their last referendum. There is a good chance that oil prices will structurally stay lower for a long time, due to technology improvements and American production. Couple that with risks to future North Sea production ability, and Scotland may be suckling at the English teat for quite some time to come.

Their big issue is keeping the National Health Service “free”, while the rest of the UK is trying to move toward a more sustainable model. It is financial suicide, but they are wedded to it. If they pursue independence in a similarly ideological manner, they could wind up destitute and looking for an EU sugar daddy to pay their EBT bills.

Conservatives gained 24 and Labour lost 26, so I think your statement is innacurate.

How about....the Scottish Nazi Party?

(I've seen the BNP and UKIP referred similarly by ultra-leftists there, even though the BNP, UKIP are polar-opposite of the SNP)

There is virtually no difference between David Cameron and Tony Blair.

Tony Blair was/is an agressive predator. Cameron shares a wet blanket with that van Rompuy dweeb.

The SNP is actually very pro-immigration. Much of the independence and pro-SNP argument sniffed at the English for increasingly turning to UKIP and becoming more hostile to immigration, despite the fact that England is only 79% ‘White British’ and Scotland is over 90% white British, and thus much less affected by immigration.

The SNP should show the Plaid Crymid how to defeat the Labour in Wales...
