Seems like the reasonable solution (considering how unreasonable the whole deal is) would be to make it a co-ed storage shed that both boys and girls teams could use - it looks big enough to handle it.

The only “problem” I see here is that the shed is on public property.
So the solution should be to make the exact same square footage footprint available to the girls so that they can have a place to put their shed, should they decide to raise funds and obtain materials donations for it.
