Dan Rather of CBS was toppled by a phony document scam. Lyin’ Brian Williams at NBC casually mixed fact with self-aggrandizing fiction. Now George Stephanopoulos is caught in a Clinton web of deceit at ABC.
The hat trick of arrogant anchor scandals helps explain why Americans don’t trust network news. With apologies to Walter Cronkite, that’s the way it is, and the way it is stinks.
Stephanopoulos shares with Rather and Williams the rotten distinction of fessing up only after being exposed by real journalists. In his case, the Washington Free Beacon uncovered his secret donations to the Clinton Foundation and contacted ABC for a response.

Exactly...this nitwit is/was and always has been a partisan democRAT hack. To even suggest that he was ever a “newsman” is just plain absurd.
His schtick in the debate with Roney was a plant for the White Hut, the arranged to set that meme into motion at that debate and that’s exactly what he did...he followed orders.
Should he be fired from ABC ? I don’t even think it matters now. ABC is a subversive communist organization. After this their lisence to operate radio and TV stations should be revoked. Same for CBS/Viacom and NBC/Comcast. All three have their own broadcast stations in various markets, they should be shut down immediately.
I’m sick of this ‘pay to play’ crap. And NewsMax and Murdock are just as guilty.
