How many ex-presidents are alive at a given time? 4? 5? I mean, I get it that we should keep costs down where we can but even if these guys spent $10,000,000 each a year it’s a minuscule amount when compared to the rest of the debt.
If they’re going to spend time fixing finances, start where we can save billions or trillions at a time.
They should lose secret service protection after 4 years, unless they want to pay for it themselves. That would put a good friend of mine out of a job, but he’s ready to retire anyway.
