Ted Cruz made a campaign stop in Beaumont, TX on Tuesday, May 19. He was asked repeatedly by Kevin Steele from KMBT-TV about the issue of gay marriage, to which Cruz responds by turning the tables.
Watch how Ted Cruz deftly handles a snotty reporter who only wants to talk to him about some gay issues but not other issues related to government.

I heard this on Dana Loesch’s show. Cruz won the exchange game, set, and match!
I’ve been saying for a while that the young gun candidates - Cruz, Walker, even Rubio, are far better at handling the media than past GOP contenders. That’s important, because the left has always made the most of its advantage with the MSM. Now, we have guys (and a gal, in Fiorina) who know how to take the media scum to the mat, and do it with a smile.
Even people who don’t like him or agree with him would have to honestly admit that there is no one in either party who is quite stupid enough to go toe-to-toe with him verbally or in writing.
Which is why, you will NEVER, EVER see him on stage with (insert Democrat candidate here) in a debate.
Nice!
Actually seeing how well Ted Cruz handled this is even better than reading the written reports!
Good one.
Because queer “marriage” is the most important issue of our time. /s
Featured on BOR’S tonight too!
Yes, they are and the media isn't sure what to make of it. Those old "gotcha" questions aren't working like they did in the past.
“Thats important, because...”
Right. I would go one further and say that it’s everything in today’s nasty, agenda-driven media climate.
Cruz to reporter: “That’s a great question, are you a queer?”
Cruz is fantastic! Sic ‘em Ted!
Rock behave yourself!
We ahe bettah than that!
This is what happens when a masturbater goes after a master debater...
Read your comment and watched it myself.
Absolutely correct!

Brilliant response by Senator Cruz.
Cruz answers the question, then the reporter asks the same question — word for word.
“Gay-Americans.” Phrased like it’s a racial classification.
