According to first unconfirmed reports, central Tehran was hit Sunday night with massive blasts leaving many hundreds of people dead. Witnesses report heavy Revolutionary Guards and Basij forces speeding to the area. Thee are also reports of explosions in the southern Iranian town of Isfahan - also unconfirmed.

Building name is in Spanish not Farsi.
I had the same reaction when someone on Twitter posted a Debka link about a bombing in Damascus the other day.
In terms of reliability, it lies somewhere between Sy Hersh and the Weekly World News.
That means the story is probably bogus, also.

ISIS is at war with Iran.
Iran has been in bed with terrorists.
Terrorists don’t always have firm allegiances.
If Israel did something, it would make sense to do it while Obama was occupied on one of his typical holiday homo weekends.

If that photo really is in Teheran, on a Sunday (which I believe is Islam’s ‘Monday’, looks like someone scored a target-rich 10 top floors.
At any rate, some high-rollers will be able to answer their phones after this, some will not. If HVTs were acquired (nuke scientists?), this could be an inside job, too.
The DEBKAfile posting was done at 11:09pm Israeli Daylight Time. That was a little over an hour ago. IDT is 7 hours ahead of US Eastern Time and Iran is an hour ahead of IDT. So it was posted about midnight Iranian time.
I guess I’ll have to do some searching to see what later news and or confirmations are out.

Could also be Iran bombing itself and not ISIS, though that is a possibility. We will see if ISIS takes credit. If not:
1) Iran is run by radical Islamists and don’t care who they kill.
2) Historically, their secret services were modeled on the KGB, and trained by the KGB. And the KGB are well known for fabricating “provocations.” Bombing their own people and blaming it on others, having people throw molotov cocktails in people’s faces just to increase class-warfare, etc. So why wouldn’t the Iranians give this a go?
