Hay fever misery to increase with global warming: Invasive ragweed to spread pollen further due to climate change

Climate change could help a notorious invasive weed known to trigger severe allergy attacks to spread and bring misery to hay fever sufferers, experts have warned.

Ragweed, also known as Ambrosia artemisiifolia, is native to North America but since the 1960s has been spreading rapidly across warmer parts of Europe.

It is still rare in the UK, but researchers predict by 2050 it could be scattering pollen throughout much of Britain and northern Europe.

BTW, sneezing produces even more CO2. It's a vicious cycle.

All that ragweed would be a b*tch, if there was such a thing as Global Warming.

Luckily, it’s an utter fiction calculated to provide scientists an opportunity to suck away on the Public Teat.

Well co2 causes more plant mass to directly. But as far as the average global tempetur...we live in individual climates that vary far more than the average...moreover models of the average promoted by agw alarmists have been notoriously off.

Yes. I think we have an ELE (Extinction Level Event)problem on our hands here folks. Damn.

Hey! I was just hit with an Epiphany right out of the blue! Just like a bolt of lightning!

All these global warming citations of causes from A to Z are JUST LIKE a thread here whose subject matter is so ridiculous, the following posts in it become an exponentially expanding explosion of sarcasm and jokes. They come so fast, you can hardly keep up with them in real time.

Only here, the AGW topic’s absurdity isn’t so patently obvious to the little ants that keep doing these studies and the operatives in the media who distribute the spin on them.

As with most of the “global warming” claims, there is another more plausible explanation. It is a form of scientific laziness to attribute every observation to “global warming”—using that as an “explanation” frees the scientist doing so from actually having to figure out what is going on, which often is not obvious or easy to determine.

Invasive species (like ragweed) are one of the most severe environment threats of our time. With increased mobility of people, those species tend to cross borders fairly easily. And there is no easy answer to stop them, either.

I don’t have an allergy problem, but I can sense when ragweed is around—the air smells of pepper! Compared microscopically to other pollens, ragweed has a pollen grain that is hugh and series.

Good. Why shouldn’t those arrogant Europeans have to suffer with hay fever? Another benefit of Global Warming.

All these global warming citations of causes from A to Z...

Not only that, but at the SAME time, GW also causes ~A to ~Z.

“Doesn’t RoundUp work on ragweed?”

Yep, but it’s cheaper to mow it before it matures.

Mow it a couple of years in a row before it matures and it’s pretty much gone.
