Billionaire investor George Soros told the World Bank this week that the planet is on the verge of a third world war that could arise out of an economic collapse in China.

“If there is conflict between China and a military ally of the United States, like Japan, then it is not an exaggeration to say that we are on the threshold of a third world war,” Soros said during a Bretton Woods conference. . . . .

Soros said the only solution to the prospect was to allow China to join the IMF’s basket of global currencies so that it could compete with the dollar.

China has 30,000 Tons of Gold saved up to topple the US Dollar from Global Reign .....the Chinese authorities expect that the Chinese national currency will be added on the list of IMF reserve currencies that already includes the dollar, the euro, the pound sterling and the Japanese yen......Russia also has been piling up gold the country has doubled its gold reserves. As of late 2014, Russia was ranked fifth in the world in terms of gold reserves.....the Russian central bank bought 28 tonnes of gold in March, the biggest one-month purchase since September.....The Russian central bank has been the single biggest buyer of gold and in just 2014, according to data from the WGC, as they bought 174.8 tonnes of gold.

Countries in Asia are banding together in order to rid themselves of using the dollar in international trade.....if China does so the rest will surely follow.

Add to this that the Middle East now sends exports to China and India, so there’s no pressing reason to use the dollar there.

As long as we are their biggest customer, they will keep making sure we can buy without problems.

Most of the PRC’s sabre rattling has more to do with internal situations than international ones. The last thing the PRC wants is 4 billion pissed off unemployed Chinamen. Like many authoritarian regimes, they need to keep the nationalism whipped up with a nice enemy to point to.
