I feel like I need to address the elephant-in-the-room on this blog, since you guys have been with me through thick and thin. When I first got engaged, you were the first ones I wanted to tell.
I guess you have seen by now that the wedding — that was supposed to happen last weekend — was called off. I’m sure you’ve seen this has been all over the media, but this is a painful time for family and friends and I would just really appreciate your prayers.
I know God’s plan is greater than anything else, and Tripp and I are in Alaska beginning to rebuild our lives under much different circumstances than we anticipated.

you do realize Bristol spent her weekend with her ‘exotic’ friend? Not a rumour...Bristol posted the pictures herself.
So I am not thinking Bristol has any plans for higher office.
I do hope the girl pulls back her public life, focuses on her child and herself ...maybe grows up a bit and faces life head on with strength and dignity.

Why is it stupid, this is part of her work, to keep in contact with the young people who she speaks to.
She has a following from her time as a pro-life speaker.
She has a public role and has for years, that is why she writes her blog for Patheos.
She didn’t have a New York times best seller and a TV series because nobody knew who she was, or wasn’t interested in her.
That was the speculation, but the Palins have denied it. They claim that they knew about his first wife.
Also, IIRC he’s still good friends with his ex. THAT might be the deal breaker, who knows?

I have no way of knowing what the two friends did .... merely passing along the info that Bristol posted to social media. I am, however, doubtful of Ms. Palin’s desire to run for an elected office.
My guess he is trying for an annulment.

My fantasies? Seriously? You are the person pontificating about Ms Palin and her virtues and your belief she is prime for holding an elective office. If anyone points to reasons that Ms Palin ‘may’ not be quite what you’re portraying... you attempt to divert or dismiss another point of view.
