One potential advantage of the kiosks is that they could be programmed to work in multiple languages. Imagine going to a fast food restaurant and being able to easily order in English.

When on vacation last week we stopped at Burger King for Milk Shakes and there was some foreigner there who was trying to order and nobody could understand him. They kept pointing at various dishes but even then it wasn’t helping.....until he saw someone with an ice-cream cone walking by and pointed to that.
