iCarly and the RNC Pseudo-candidates

iCarly and the RNC Pseudo-candidates

I hope people realize iCarly is full on GOPe RNC and her role is to aid GOPe candidates.

As RNC talent, she is better than most. She is articulate,  concise, intelligent.

But don't think we can trust her long term any more than we can trust Prince Rebus, Boner or Mitchie-poo.

iCarly is not the only strategic pseudo-candidate.

Why would Huckabee run other than to dilute support for Ted Cruz.

It's win win win for GOPe, Huckabee and Fox  Huckabee gets to help Cruz lose and then gets to go back to Fox as a two time Republican Presidential Candidate.

Similarly, why would Lindsey Graham run other than to dilute support for Cruz in South Carolina, a state where Cruz could get some good traction.

iCarly was recruited to dilute support for Palin just in case she ran, same for Bachman or any other potential conservative female candidate.

RNC media allies, Fox and Salem, play a large role in this in coordinating the narrative and promoting these pseudo-candidates, especially Fiorina and Graham.

Salem has now scored a coup in terms of being able to control the GOP debates with erstwhile PBS host Hugh Hewitt, Salem über-GOPe talk show host, as moderator.

This poses about as many ethical problems as does Stephanopolous' association with Presidential debates given Hewitt's close association with the RNC promotion machine and Hewitt's status as Mitt Romney hagiographer.

This is all fine in that they have every right to do these things. I wish they were more honest about it.

But if we know and understand what they are doing we ought not be fooled and we can keep focused on getting Ted Cruz nominated, or Scott Walker.

Realize the narrative will continue, from MSM and RNC media. Ted Cruz is too extreme and, as Cruz pointed out the other day, crazy.

Scott Walker will be hit from the other side with the smears being that he is too establishment, wishy-washy, a sell out.

So just know what is going on, how it works in spin nothing is real optics-land.

I do believe we can appreciate certain things GOPers have done or might do, including Fiorina, Hewitt, Medved and others. They are not Democrats and do not have nothing to be commended for.

Yet, politically they are poison and always lead to loss and defeat. Don't let them do it to us this time around.

“So are you saying she was knowingly recruited for this purpose? Or was she duped? Or was she actually “recruited” at all?”

I believe so, yes. I think her relocation to DC is telling.

If she is not running as part of the RNC general strategy, then she is running as an ego candidate.

I have a higher regard for her than that and don’t think it is a vanity campaign.

I also think she is too smart not to know she does not have a chance of garnering the nomination.

“Is it to be able to make money or get cushy lobbying jobs after they drop out?”

I think ego is also involved in many (not Fiorina though).

And don’t discount that being foils to candidates the RNC dislikes can help with the cushy jobs you mention.

Not sure why you feel the need to attack anyone who points out your obsession. Still waiting for you explanation of how having one more RINO does not help water down the rest of the RINOs.

Just making notes.

You gave yourselves away be your convoluted arguments and nature of personal attacks.

RNC Alinsky tactics.

What a crock.

Carly ran on her own confidence and talent. She may or may not make a ticket, but she is vastly more dignified than to be anyone’s pawn.

I don’t believe Carly Fiorina has stars in her eyes. She is doing what Hillary is doing— she is already running a general election campaign message. She thinks she can govern as well as anyone and is borrowing a ride on no one’s ticket, but running on her own steam wide open against Hillary, to prove it.

We are darn lucky to have her taking on Hillary. The guys are too busy turning over rocks searching for money to attend to business against Hillary.

Whoa, LMAO, you really outdid yourself on that one.

I'm laughing too hard to even write a serious response....you sound like the proverbial dog that got hit with a rock!!

Karl Rove provided independent expenditure funding for iCarly back in 2010.

GOPe fully supported her in 2010 and she and RNC produced some very nasty stuff against her more independent or conservative opponents in the primary.

It would help if you posted an idea or two about how she might hurt Cruz instead of the other RINOs. As I said in the other thread she might be the last RINO standing, like an insurance policy. But that’s a problem in the future and not unique to her.

Yeah, all that’s true. But if Hill’s the nominee and Carly continues to shine as an attack dog, any chance she’d get the veep spot with whatever GOPe candidate—and don’t fool yourself, Walker and Cruz are plenty Establishment themselves—prevails?

“I also think she is too smart not to know she does not have a chance of garnering the nomination.”

Why not? She’s smart. She’s relatively young. She’s fearless and she expresses moral clarity. I think she has everything any conservative is looking for. I think she has a pretty fair shot, especially if she continues the way she is now.

If she starts talking about actual conservative principles, and things like securing the border and ending Obamacare... THEN she’ll be stopped. >>> By the RNC. <<<

I think Carly was invited in by the GOPe with a promise of at least a cabinet-level position if she does the anti-Hillary dirty work for them.

What are you talking about?

iCarly was a Disney channel show about some kid’s show.

I’m confused.

iCarly is a nick name for Carly Fiorina, being in the IT industry for a while.

It comes from the Nickelodeon show (not Disney).
