Did Denny Hastert, former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, really think he could get away with it?

He must have. He kept paying and paying, until the FBI came knocking, asking about all that cash he was withdrawing from his bank accounts.

And you know the rest.

Whether you consider it hush money to cover up sexual misconduct when he was a teacher and coach, or an attempt to right what he considered to be the wrongs of his past, there's one thing we do know:

former Illinois Senator Peter Fitzgerald should be commended. It's a shame that Hastert, LaHood and the rest of the combine ran him out of office.

Fitzgerald was too much a threat to the corrupt Combine.

So how is it that non-entities always end up in leadership positions? I had never heard of Hastert or Boehner or McConnell or Reid or Pelosi before they became the heads of their respective bodies.

The only recent House or Senate leader that had any claim to fame was Gingrich and he actually tried to do something and accomplished a bit before he got caught up in his own scandals.

So there are vocal congressmen who become famous, make clever speeches, take controversial stands, and don't participate in the leadership of the House or Senate.

Then there are time-serving trolls that slowly and innocuously rise through the ranks to become leaders who quash all of the good ideas for being to controversial.

After participating in this completely worthless Kabuki theater, they all end up retiring to well-paying jobs as lobbyists or nominal heads of huge organizations so they can continue to pretend that they are serving the public.

We are totally hosed.

Fitzgerald should have run for re-election instead of stepping aside for Obama.

He didn’t have much of a choice. The Combine wasn’t going to allow him to run for reelection. They would destroy him in the primary or he’d be taken out in the general. Both parties in IL (controlled by the Combine) opposed him.

This just makes me wonder all the more what they have on Boehner and McConnell.

Rauner is holding firm against Madigan and Cullerton regarding the Illinois budget. I hope it works. I think he’s actually challenging the combine because one of the PACs associated with his former campaign allies have over $30 million to fight against those that seek to make him like jello like the rest of the combine.

Here’s a similar story from 7 years ago that doesn’t require registration.

I guess the Combine is what we’ve been calling the Uniparty, except in DC, not just Illinois. I’ve also been calling them, very accurately, the Kleptocrats..

We've all heard the rumors about Hastert's days as a boys wrestling coach.

What did Boehner and McConnell do before they were elected? Or do the Democrats/Illuminati/Bildebergers maintain high priced escorts in DC to create blackmailable situations?

The more that homosexuals permeate government, education and the church the greater the decline.

So how is it that non-entities always end up in leadership positions?

Why would billionaire elites pay to elect "entities" who have free will?

Here's an interesting idea:

1. The US Supreme Court Reynolds vs Simms decision and the 17th Amendment were both attempts to reinforce the idea of "one man, one vote".

2. The House and Senate have organized themselves through the committee system in such a way that certain congressmen are more powerful than others, i.e. some citizens have more power than others which presumably is a bad thing.

3. Bring a case to the Supreme Court that the House and Senate leaders have to be voted in my popular vote of the people rather than by vote of their members.

4. This will tend to lead to firebrands and populists leading rather than spineless trolls.

5. When the people are stupid enough to vote for liberal firebrands who will try and implement crazy, expensive stuff they will quickly rue the day and vote someone else in there (hopefully).

6. If the people vote in conservative firebrands like Cruz then the US will be a much better place.

You don’t pay that kind of money to right a wrong. You pay it to keep someone quiet.

You elect for leadership someone you think you can control.
