This is why all the awards that folks like Hillary, Wendy Davis, all the members of the CBC, et al, give each other are so meaningless as to be risible.

Bal’mer City’s State’s Atty Marilyn and her husband, Councilman Nick Mosby, are to receive an award from the UniverSoul Circus ”for their commitment to the well-being of the Baltimore community”. Nick the Mos represents the area of Bal’mer that has been hardest hit by the rioting and murders.

Over 40 murders in May alone, ~120 in 2015, orders of magnitude higher than Chicago’s high murder rate. Mostly because the police commissioner has stood down his force at the behest of the Mayor, both Mosbys, and the local Congressman.

So much for the “well-being of the Baltimore community”.

There’s a reason she received the award while acting as guest ringmaster. At a circus.

Yes people are moving from Baltimore, or the homicides are being unreported.

Sure..and let me sue the city of Baltimore for having a moron being mayor. I’ll sue you for $50 million.

The B&O Railroad Museum is supposed to be a great museum for railfans, but I’m not going to visit. It is a shame.

Remember that the “authorities” went after the Koreans in LA and wanted to prosecute them. Thankfully, the Koreans gave them an “i din see nuffin”

Yup.

And folks wonder why so many of us are less than concerned about any issues police may have.

"I’d be willing to bet the cops would be perfectly willing to arrest anyone who has the nerve to defend himself with a handgun."

Maybe in a singular situations, but in an expanding riot, no. Think Rodney King LA riots where the police pulled out but the Koreans stood atop their stores with their weapons pointed down. Not a single Korean store was looted or burned IIRC.

Now, think Ferguson and Baltimore where the police let the city burn. It's happened time and again. I've never heard of any person being arrested during riots for defending their lives and livelihoods. And if the police were to target self-defense citizens, doubt it would get much traction with a judge or jury. Hell, the New Orleans police were useless during the Katrina looting.

I miss the days when looters and those throwing molotov cocktails at the police were shot on site.

Every one of those in your graphic needs to experience the "pink mist". No, their "Black lives DON'T matter". The same goes for Hispanic gangs and White biker 1% gangs. They are not deserving of living since they only kill, rape, steal, and cause havoc with good citizens. Kill them all and let the rest of us live in peace and prosperity.

Yes, I said that and I mean it! Let them all die yesterday. My compassion for human beings only goes so far, which does not include sub-humans. Hell, I have more sympathy for abused doggies than these scumbags.

As I usually do with a particular problem, I suggest a solution: The States (not Fedgov) should start arresting the fathers and put them in hard labor for abandonment. It wouldn't be that difficult to find them when the State tells the mother all welfare bennies are cut off unless they give names. Plus, penalize the welfare queens for sitting on the couch watching Jerry Springfield with no intent of finding a job. Again, it should be a State effort.
