I’ve mentioned this on other bee threads: A couple of years ago my son and I spent four days camping in the deep backwoods of western NC far from any agriculture and cell phone signals.

The honey bees were thick as flies at the campsite and appeared to be healthy.

Here in Northern California there is no apparent lack of bees.

He’s such a “good person”
“doing something”
to “save the earth”.

I’m well aware of colony collapse disorder amongst bee hives, and some, but not all, causes are known at this point. But the whole idea of a “bee sanctuary” is ludicrous, and that very name coupled with the perpetrator, Morgan Freeman, who is a fool and complete nutter, would tend to indicate that serious science is not the goal, but instead this is either a publicity stunt or Morgan looks on bees as if they abused cats or rare unicorns who need “sanctuary”.
