Do we really NEED to post the picture of John McCain with Isis again.

Go ahead, but then I'll post a link identifying them as other people, and I'll probably be asking you to prove those guys are actually ISIS rather than generic looking Arabs. We'll see how well you do the second go around.

Late developments: Iran sending troops to Assad, and Saudi Arabia admits to cooperating with Israel.

Wouldn’t surprise me a bit if Russia was behind ISIS. Fits their M.O. Much of the terrorism of the 1970s was backed by Russia, for example the training camps in Cuba, and numerous acts of violence in North and South America.

The name “cold war” is a misnomer. Should have been called “covert” war. Russia/former Soviet Union is always up to something. Meet the new Russia - Acts a lot like the old Russia.

It has been several days since I saw this. I would have to Google search, and I don’t have time for the next 48 hours. The Iran/Assad item I think I saw on line. The Egypt/Israel item I think I heard on radio. It was saying that this has been going on for a while, but that the Saudi’s were just now admitting it, so probably can find that on Google too.

On the subject of unusual pairings, did anyone hear Michael Savage the other day on Religion and savage behavior? He was cutting up Muslim fanaticism like crazy, but then had a lot to say about the Old Testament, and particularly items meriting the death sentence in Leviticus, which today are being carried out by ISIS/ISIL, but not by the rest of the “civilized” world. He also pointed out that he has looked at other world religions that have never sanctioned the cruelty of the Old Testament and Islam. I had read Leviticus a week ago and been struck with the similarities of some items there with extreme Muslim actions.

Living without the laws that make civilization possible is indeed a freeing experience, for a very short time.
