Exactly what I was talking about.
That was Patty Wetterling when she was running against Michele Bachmann. She wasn’t going to win anyway.
They were bashing Ted for that very same reason not too long ago—he’s on record for NOT knuckling under to Big Corn—IOW, he’s against burning alcohol...
Iowa State is not socialist. Or rather, as little as a college town can be.
The western half of the state is very conservative.
However, I find the crowds interesting. There are a lot of very desperate people, who are watching their savings go down the drain. Many have been burned by the banks, in both the housing market, and the futures market. The banks were bailed out, many saw their money taken.
The GOP needs to get a handle on this, and fast.
You can’t farm without the subsidies. My Grandpa and Dad tried. My uncle took all the money Uncle Sam gave out, and is still farming.
Or rather, he cashes the US Gov check.
Socialism is the root cause of all these problems. Free markets don’t bailout or subsidize losers. The solution for alchaholism is not more alchaholism!?!
Okay, I had heard that was more of a rural district...Bachman’s district is around the Twin Cities if I’m not mistaken.
I agree. But you have kids with $500,000 worth of student loans, families cleaned back from claw backs, and a bunch of formally middle class people slip sliding into poverty.. all of a sudden someone saying that they are going after banks and To Big To Fail companies is attractive.
The GOP wants to take booze from one drunk, and give it to another. That is why socialism is making in roads
Judy Dutcher, lt. gov. candidate for Mike Hatch. Lost to incumbent Tim Pawlenty.
bump
Why just Iowa?
Free stuff will ALWAYS draw a crowd!
yup
Reaping the whirlwind
I think some of this is paid off activism for Sanders and a photo moment.
Probably lots of help from the Communist Party USA.
