The show is great, Not historical accurate but great, I was sad when Nathaniel Sackett died.
I figured Rodgers to be a a Mercenary which he was.
Simcoe still gives me the creeps bu makes me wonder due to his abolitionist ways.
Perhaps the first to use the blacks for blood.

I fell on the floor laughing when Caleb Brewster stole the British officer's uniform from the officer as he was being serviced by one of New York's -- (ahem!) -- finest.

If you want to see the early Robert Rogers, read Northwest Passage by Kenneth Roberts. Spencer Tracy played Rogers when MGM made the book into an early Technicolor movie.

My shoulder seems to be getting better by the day.
We’ll know for sure, as I have another Dr’s Apt, next Tues.

In the 80s, I had a chance to go out on the USS Nimitz on family day. My son flew the EA 6B. It was a most interesting trip. Sailors gave group tours on the ship, and at one time I asked our guide if it seemed strange to have so many women and children aboard. His answer? “It’s the perfume, Ma’am.” LOL!
My son served several tours on the Nimitz. One time he landed without the flaps coming down. (a broken $12 bolt!!) He took several practice runs to use gas, and then came in successfully at FULL speed — earning a commendation. But he was unhappy with his landing — getting the 2nd hook, rather than the better and choice 3rd hook!!!! Sigh.

He won’t. He’ll become a hero in Canada and the father of Toronto.

Kenneth Roberts’s books are some of my very favorites. I loved his depiciton of Robert Rogers! Made him much more sympathetic than this production does. LOL!
