Jeb Bush: We will lose our liberties if we control the border

Jeb Bush made a series of astonishing remarks about immigration Wednesday. Actually, his comments were not so much about immigration as they were about illegal aliens.

First he said he wanted to repopulate Detroit with illegal aliens.

It just seems to me that maybe if you open up our doors in a fair way and unleashed the spirit of peoples' hard work, Detroit could become in really short order, one of the great American cities again," Bush said then. "Now it would look different, it wouldn't be Polish...But it would be just as powerful, just as exciting, just as dynamic. And that's what immigration does and to be fearful of this, it just seems bizarre to me.

Now, if we were talking about legal immigration, I would probably agree. But I think you and I both know whom Jeb was talking about "opening the doors" for. Illegal aliens are already roosting in our inner cities in the millions. Jeb simply wants to accelerate the process. But wait, there's more.

He said, during a discussion with Univision, that it was "ridiculous" to think that DREAMers, children brought to the U.S. by their parents illegally, shouldn't have an "accelerated path" to citizenship.

Republican primary voters like him because they recognize his name. That makes them feel good about themselves.

Unlike Silent Hill, the more he talks the more his support drops. The press is holding back his wife trying to cheat customs out of thousands of dollars when sneaking through designer clothes from Europe. He also has a daughter who is a hopeless drug addict and a son who beat up his girlfriend’s former boyfriends on her front yard. They are holding back three trump cards for an October surprise. We need to put sunshine on these “factoids” now, not later.

If the options are Bush and Clinton, we need to have a revolution.

if anyone still has doubts, if it is a Bush Clinton choice, that will certainly cement the fact that fraud controls US politics and yes, if the people want the system fixed a revolution will be necessary to fix it.

I’ve lived in Miami and have been to Detroit several times on business. Miami is much better and Detroit is basically Zimbabwe, ie a foreign country where the locals speak Africanized English.

Well Miami is not deserted but still its like a foreign country. I lived there for 11 long years. I had many Cuban friends and they are lovely people but they have pretty much made Miami into a Cuban republic on the mainland. If you take a bunch of illegal Mexicans to Detroit and repopulate it you will just have another Mexico City in the US. It doesn’t make sense.
