Today we head to the range to honor TexasCowboy's love of the 2nd Amendment by shooting lots of guns & eating BBQ on the range.
Friday was a day of leisure, shopping, getting items stuck in a tree, eating yummy food and cursing a stupid fishing poles. Fun times!
Pictures will be posted at some point ~ the wifi is iffy here, so be patient.

I will be watching it closely. If it looks really bad from where y’all are, let me know so I can turn around! I am all about not drowning. LOL!

Thank you! I’m thinking I’ll leave here around 9, but have no idea how long it will take me to get there. Hwy 6 and Hwy 22 are 2-lane roads, so if there is an 18-wheeler ahead, it could be a while. LOL!

Me, too, BB! I would love to have seen you and the others, but I knew I’d probably have a hard time getting there. I’m not good driving in wet weather...being a desert dweller! LOL!

BT and I stopped by to visit the Indian Lodge resort, a MUCH better place, on the way home.
We met the owners and the very nice wife gave us access to the cabins and a tour. It has much more capacity and most everything is modernized. Report and pics from BT to follow...
We are also looking into finding a closer gun range.

I liked the place and didn’t see it as trashy at all. The only person that didn’t like the it was NYT. The roads into the place is another story.
All the rain & wind help the Horror movie perception.
And the only other range I’m considering is the one on the river, it is the same distance from Whitney.
I will abide by the consensus of the ones who were there....I just don’t wanna wait till way next October! :) I miss everyone!
Glad I made the decision to stay behind. We’re on our way to OKC today to check on my MIL and hubby has some business to do for her since he is sort of her “agent”. The weather is picture perfect.
Dibs on #12! LOL! If it’s clean and modernized.
