The New York Times labeled it "the biggest trolling operation in history ...a highly coordinated disinformation campaign, involving dozens of fake accounts that posted hundreds of tweets for hours, targeting a list of figures..." Hmmm, I wonder wonder wonder if they NYet Times has ever published such an expose about the liberal attacks on Rush Limbaugh who has been smeared on twitter by the coordinated "protests" of just a couple dozen users made to appear to be thousands and thousands of outraged consumers. This has been the basis of sponsors leaving his program.

Same old, same old. The KGB had a "Disinformatsia" office in the bad old days to spread lies about us.
If lying and spying were Olympic events, the Russians would always win the gold.

I’m sure there are leftist trolls that do nothing but attack Conservatives in the US. They are free to do so, but the ethical problem is that they are PAID to do so (funded by Soros etal...), and of course they do not disclose this.
On the Corporate side, we have trolls who do nothing but represent Apple on FreeRepublic itself, and others who do the same for Microsoft and Google. I again have no problem with that, as long as they disclose that they are paid to do so.

The goal is to create normal sounding, credible online personalities, who then strategically insert propaganda - often sandwiched between generic, vanilla posts. According to The New York Times, The point was to weave propaganda seamlessly into what appeared to be the nonpolitical musings of an everyday person. Pretty much all socialist networking (twitter, facebook, instagram, etc.) looks like this. Pictures of food, cats, and some pop film followed by reposted "support" for the angry yutes in Ferguson, etc. and outrage over the latest 'cis-gender privilege' manspreading kerfluffle.

Pssst Obama’s own administration was paying for such propagandizing of Obamacare.

What a waste of time, effort and money. How could the fake news be any more damaging than the real news?

“Secret Kremlin Troll Farm Spreads Fake News About U.S.”
Why? We already got a liberal media for that.

The “Troll Farm” is located in an old gray brick building, eh? Gee, I wonder if it is nicknamed “The Gray Lady”.

Meh, our media is just as bad, in fact probably worse because when they propagandize for Obama they are more less doing it “for the cause” instead of being paid directly by the government itself.

Employees are periodically given tests to ensure they are knowledgeable, such as Whos Psaki? Jen Psaki is the U.S. State Department spokesperson, a frequent target of the trolls. Well, there goes my theory about Russia being behind DemocRAT Underground.

Oh yeah, I believe they took this page out of the Russian’s playbook (or maybe they invented this), because I just see these trolls at the news site commentaries, relentless, same talking points, it’s as if posting on the comments is the only thing they do in life! I accused one commentator of being a Soros-paid groupie, and never responded. I have no doubt.

“Former troll Marat Burkhard said employees are instructed to make Obama look like a monkey with no class.”
I can’t believe they pay people to do something that requires no effort whatsoever.

Hell, it doesn’t matter whether it’s democrat politicians, the liberal media, or their tools parroting on message boards, they all simultaneously regurgitate the same words at the same time. As the left claims to own social media, and seeing how they love to stifle dissenting speech, we need to figure out how to either shut down social media or control it. Then they’d have to go back to using flashfax to communicate!

Not surprised. We have our own disinformatziya crew that seems to wait for key words or phrases to pop up.
