I used Angie’s list in the past but quit over their opposition to Christians.
They can go F themselves.
Not only does this help to support the congregation, we get a fair deal every time. (Sometimes I have thought the cost of particular jobs was too high, but research has always convinced me that the deal was fair and reasonable.)
Angie's list is not going to get you the best deal in town.

In this particular example, the vast majority of people who buy a house expecting to have a contractor "fix it up" are going to be disappointed. Surely there is money to be made in that arena, but only if the buyer can do most of the repairs without a contractor. I have been in that game for 40 years.
I had to get a new roof, so I looked a Angie’s list. Recognized one of the contractors (received the highest rating) recently being arrested for taking money from the customer and not completing the job. Called the local lumber yard for recommendations, and they told me the best roofers don’t advertise, they don’t have to. He gave me the list of 3 good roofers and I got the job done.
Dummy!! ...shoulda gone to CraigsList.
Angie’s List has never let me down, a wonderful investment.
Yeah, some don’t care if they’ve taken a public stand against Constitutional freedoms.
