Obviously those still condemning Cruz have not LISTENED to the entire interview.
Ted Cruz is an unwavering proven conservative who reveres our country and understands our founding documents backwards and forwards. He stands for liberty, conservative and constitutional principles even in the face of blistering criticism. He has far more access to all pertinent facts and issue details than I or we will ever have. Based on his history, proven character, intelligence and record, I trust Ted Cruz to make the best decisions possible for our American interests. He also thoroughly understands the threats of BHO,the leftist/communist agenda, illegal immigration, Islam, etc. I’m grateful that there is a politician whom I can have full confidence in.
I won’t waste time responding to anyone who might accuse me of blind allegiance or being a Cruzbot. That would be a ridiculous accusation.

Trump’s criticism of Gellar was on her method, not her goal. Franklin Graham said about the same thing, and he is one of the few who stands up against Muslim encroachment. I read that Perry changed his support for TPP and that is good. You can call it flip-flopping if you like. Here in Louisiana, it seems that all the candidates who ran Tea Party style, and won, are voting for the Obama agenda. Who has really flip-flopped?
You refuse to answer my question on the substance of the bill, but you are demanding I answer yours. I will not support anyone who is for this bill. Walker was my choice, but he says now he supports fast track even though he didn't read the bill.

If, as promoters amazingly suggest, the President had more powers without fast-track, he would veto it. The authority granted in “Trade Promotion Authority” is authority transferred from Congress to the Executive and, ultimately, to international bureaucrats. The entire purpose of fast-track is for Congress to surrender its power to the Executive for six years.
Legislative concessions include: control over the content of legislation, the power to fully consider that legislation on the floor, the power to keep debate open until Senate cloture is invoked, and the constitutional requirement that treaties receive a two-thirds vote. Legislation cannot even be amended.
We are already living in a tyranny of the Executive Branch with Obama usurping powers not given to him under the Constitution, e.g., two executive amnesties, deciding what portions of Obamacare will or will not be implemented, misuse of the EPA and IRS. It needs to be stopped. This is about the Constitution, not some blind allegiance to a political candidate. I don't need Ted Cruz or Duncan Hunter or eff Sessions to be my guide on what is right or wrong. I deal with substance and actions, not rhetoric.

Any agreement with any other nation is a treaty. What else could it be? Treaties require a 2/3 majority in the Senate. The TPA eliminates that pesky rule.
Anyone who supports the TPA is very, very suspect.
For the record I am, or was, a Cruz supporter. He does say the TPP is still under negotiation and then later says we have not joined the immigration section of TPP.
I assume after TPA is passed we can join the immigration section.

It is interesting to me how some ‘conservatives’ don’t believe Cruz on this but do believe others who are good conservatives but don’t have quite the steadfast record that Cruz does.
Agreed! I have a few litmus tests for candidates, and support for the TPA is one of them. Vote for it, and you're off my list. The problem here is that most conservatives don't realize just how dangerous the TPA is to our liberties, and to our national sovereignty.
But I do like Cruz. So I've crossed him off my list in pencil. I sure hope he comes to his senses and honestly repudiates the TPA.
Yes, totally agree! In all the fluff and blather about the TPA, Ryan and Cruz do not mention this little issue of the 2/3 vote required for ratifying treaties in the Constitution. This is a glaring omission. Especially with Cruz, this makes me really wonder what is up?
I listened to his interview and I believe every word he said. Again, this is bad. If we don’t have Cruz who is left?
Asking who someone supports, so you can deflect the argument does not work here.
This is a discussion about what Ted Cruz voted for and if he tarnished his reputation with it....like Cruz did when he voted to allow Obama to have his secret Iran nuclear deal....or his support for a 500% increase in H1B Visa workers to displace educated US citizens......or his support for work permits for illegals while we sort out their citizenship status.
Cruz talks a good game, but some of his votes should be questioned vigorously.

Look buddy! It's getting close to 250 years that power has been at least nominally in the hands of the American people. Don't you think that it's about time we gave it back to its rightful owners, the international oligarchies? Or are you one of those people blinded by your involuntary support of an unCruz? You know that assimilation into the NWO would make the pain go away.
