Yup, we have a federal income tax today because economic illiterates in the Republican Party thought that protectionism, via higher tariffs, was the answer.

Makes no sense. You are the one that likes income taxes not me. History says that the USA was strongest when there were tariffs in place. Heck trade was only 5% of gdp well into the 1950's.

Look all you Free Traitors are going to be round up and bad things are going to happen to you guys if we get into shooting war in Asia. I will try to quell the mob but you dug your own grave comrade.

We have always had limits to economic freedoms where it makes sense. That doesn’t make some one a Leftist. I know that’s probably hard for you to grasp.

Free Trade policies have made China a superpower. Are you happy about that. How much Treasure and American lives is this going to cause? Do you even care?

Mr. Mase You’re quite rude and not nearly as smart as you think you are.

The attempt is on to get Americans to confuse trade, which is good, with free trade agreements, which are destroying our economy. Notice how Cruz commented on how many jobs are created by trade in Texas, but he didn’t say how many jobs are destroyed by free trade agreements. Low Mexican truckers in unsafe trucks have now been turned loose in the U.S., destroying another American industry.

We don't have free trade with Asia, idiot.

Karl Marx's fan calling people comrade, ironic.

Let's see what ever you want to call it - off shoring, there are hundreds of US companies manufacturing in Asia especially in China. So when the shooting starts who's side are you going to be on? Where is your allegiance?

This suicidal experiment in gloBULLism dies when the first container ship goes to the bottom. Can't happen soon enough.

I wouldn't invest in China with your money.

So when the shooting starts who's side are you going to be on?

I'm on America's side.

If we had fewer big government idiots, like you, we could cut taxes and regulations to the point where much more manufacturing took place here.

This suicidal experiment in gloBULLism

I'd ask you what that was, but based on your tenuous grip on reality, I doubt you could.

They are economically raping us so we do agree. My cognitive abilities may not be at the genius level but I can read a graph of unemployment since we opened up to getting our clocks cleaned.

By allowing us to buy cheap goods? LOL!

Higher prices, for the children!!

My cognitive abilities may not be at the genius level

No kidding, you're a couple of standard deviations lower. Easy.

Large cap manufactures love regulations and taxes, it keeps the little start up riff raffs out of the market. It also give them an excuse to off shore which douche bag free traitors latch on to.

You don't care about where stuff is made, don't give me that crap. You'd defang this countries manufacturing base, placing our nations security at risk, in a minute for 5 cents profit.

Cheap goods while we pay for the welfare and food stamps for the "displaced workers". Why does every free trade agreement include money for displaced worker training? Why? I would say the cheaper goods are way off set by decreased national security and social problems. But then again I am patriot and you are gloBULList DB.

Well, gosh, let's cut taxes and regulations, as I've recommended, to help the little start up riff raffs.

You don't care about where stuff is made,

I was discussing investing. Try to keep up.

You'd defang this countries manufacturing base, placing our nations security at risk, in a minute for 5 cents profit.

No I wouldn't, comrade.

How much more should we pay for our cheap plastic goods, in order to reduce welfare?

But then again I am patriot and you are gloBULList

What's a gloBULList?

The saving per retail unit cost is pennies. So I would say keeping the factories here is a bargain. Plus all factories can be converted to wartime production in case of a major shooting war which we are way overdue for.

To you higher taxes and higher prices make sense. Great. And yes, that doesn't make you a conservative. You can't advocate for free markets because you don't understand them.

Free Trade policies have made China a superpower.

Again, the fact that you don't grasp simple economics allows you to say stupid things. We do not have free trade with China.

I'm not very tolerant of people who argue against free markets, and the system of capitalism, and then try and pass themselves off as conservative. Anti-capitalists should be ridiculed because they have no idea how the bounty that surrounds them got there. You should probably learn to deal with it. What are you guys going to occupy next?

The saving per retail unit cost is pennies.

So a 2% tariff would bring all those jobs back?

So I would say keeping the factories here is a bargain.

Great idea, they'll have no problem with the new, "CO2 is pollution" regs that the EPA is pushing.

Plus all factories can be converted to wartime production in case of a major shooting war

Yes, pink flamingo IEDs will be very helpful in a shooting war.

How is off shoring factories to a Communist country an example of free markets? It must be some kind of cognitive dissonance you have. You say we don’t have free trade with China what do you call it, economic rape?

If only government would round up and exterminate the greedy Kulaks, then the nation would be saved from having to import clothing, cheap plastic lawn furniture and Christmas lights.

Everything within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state, right comrade? We have nothing to lose but our chains!

China is eating our economic lunch. This happened after we gave them MFN status.

Go ahead make this the central campaign issue of 2016. Go tell the American People that they are too stupid to understand how much better off they are because of these policies.

It will be the 2016 Version of Aiken.

Why do you think President Obama is in favor of Free Trade. You are in alignment with him, not me.

By the way I would reduce the Federal Government by 25 to 50 percent if I could. Guess that is not Conservative enough for you.

Stupid comment. A factory that molds lawn decorations could be turned into one that produces all kinds of things for the military. A lot of plastic parts every where.
