One can think of a many more deserving folks, like Congressional Medal of Honor winners who sacrificed for the country. I was talking to a US Navy vet after church this morning—he was livid over this. He wondered if the next one would be named after Jane Fonda.
I was a Marine; not a squid, but I would not want to serve aboard that ship, it might get shot in the head.
I just naturally assumed that the person in question had now become a congressMAN (after being an ex-congresswoman).
