I am trying to make sure I am reading your post correctly..

Are you saying it should be called a Treaty instead? If so we agree. Parts of TPP that have come out show it covers far more than any Trade Agreement ever has before.

If that is your point I made it days ago and can provide a link if you want.

I am just here fighting the fight trying to let folks know that they wrote the TPA to “Suspend the Senate Rules” and change the rules for the TPP. They plan to pass it with 50 + 1 in the Senate and I want folks to know.

Am I understanding your post correctly?

I was responding to his false intro. Don’t get gored by a candidate keeping his financial avenues open in the early game. There is no candidacy without that political commodity.

You were commenting on how long the poster has been here. That has zip to do with nothing.

Please, do not mistake me by someone getting taken, conned or hoodwinked by anyone in government. I trust none of them at this point, nor do I have a favorite candidate at this juncture.

More childish responses. Act like a child because you certainly don’t have any facts on your side.

Every immature one-liner just proves my point. Please continue.

He had commented falsely on how long he had been here.

I made the necessary correction.

Liars tend to lie about everything, I’ve found.

You are trying to change the subject. You began by claiming this legislation changes the Constitution.

Now you are only saying, “the TPA does in fact lower the requirement to 51 votes in the Senate.”

The first claim was and is false.

The reason the second statement is sort of true is because the “Progressives”, even those in the Republican controlled House and Senate, have decided to agree that the treaty is not a treaty, but a mere agreement.

This is treason, giving support to our enemies.

The childish responses seem to be mostly yours.

Especially the false ones.

Now you should admit that your statement claiming that this legislation changes the Constitution was incorrect.

THAT was what I was telling you. That is incorrect.

Isara is talking about repetitive posting of false “facts.”

Uh, yeah, sure.

The fact that by supporting TPA Ted Cruz just made it much easier for TPP to pass or some other fact ?

Which "false facts" are we all supposed to be watching out for so that we don't get snookered by people so dedicated to a candidate this early in an election cycle that they accuse those who disagree with them of having ulterior motives?

Thanks again. Maybe try to answer the following if you are so brilliant:

1. We all agree that Obama is more destructive than any President before, so why trust him or give him more powers?

2. TPA takes away the Senate’s constitutional right to a 60-vote cloture vote. Why give that to Obama?

3. TPA takes away the right to filibuster from any member of Congress. Why give that to Obama?

4. TPA takes away the right to offer amendments from any member of the House or Senate. Why give that to the most destructive and lawless President we have ever known?

5. TPA gives Obama the authority to negotiate in secret and condones his COMPLETELY LAWLESS behavior in threatening anybody who has read TPP (which is almost done by the way).

So my questions is this? How could anyone possibly rationalize giving so much power to a horrible President while weakening the Congress at the same time.

It defies all logic. It does not make sense.

Some of you think Obama won’t be able to find a total of 50 Demorats and RINOs to force a horrible world changing agreement on us? You are crazy.

Whether you liked them or not, Presidents before weren’t absolute haters of our actual country. Obama is, so doing this is completely idiotic.

The Constitution can not be changed by a piece of mere legislation.

Have you ever heard of the Patriot Act?

You want to play word games at a time like this?

Fact is they don’t have to get even 60 votes in the Senate the way they are doing this.

If you are making the point that it should even be 67 than even better.

Now that’s a great idea....I could go for that!

I think you said it pretty well. I know the threads and the posters the OP is talking about and I don’t think those people are trolls. Just fired up and somewhat fearful conservatives.

I live in Alabama. Check my IP address. I'm a U.S. Constitution-loving Tea Party Patriot who has mixed it up with union thugs and libtards while living in Madistan.

I am a proud Conservative who resents Cruz' backstabbing.

You Cruzbots need to wake up and smell the BS that you are being fed before it's too late. Breitbart and WikiLeaks are coming forward almost daily now with how bad ObamaTrade is to America, and yet you try to spin this treasonous campaign against us middle-class like it's something that we are supposed to support, to like.

If a candidate supports ObamaTrade in any form, they are not Conservative, they are not Tea Party, they are not American!!!

Now we have 16 months to start a grassroots campaign to nominate a rockstar Conservative candidate to lead us, like Lt. Col. Allen West. Let's get rockin' and rollin' on the Free Republic RIGHT NOW!!!
