True, but they do test that you can complete a task. A college degree is an accomplishment compared to none or a high school degree.
That was the trues in his day and age, but its about to drop off He was correct, but in about 14 years it will not matter. This is because we are going into the Jetsons era.

Lefties don’t care. The whole purpose of the minimum wage fight is because union wages are a multiplied times minimum wage. This is for increasing union wages (which are not minimum wage) and thus increasing dues.
At least some lefties that I have heard sotto voce want 15 or even 20 $ wages for fast food workers so that they don’t have to put up with the attitudes and incompetence of the burger pilots. I mada a mistake again, and asked in a McD for iced coffee which for me is just coffee over ice. If I had used the right words which turned out to be “Iced coffee plain” I would have got what I asked for. No one in the establishment could handle coffee over a glass of ice, though. “We don’t have that.” “Oh sorry!” I said remembering a traumatif experience at a McD in Pensacola a couple pf years ago; I walked out and went next door to the Waffle Shop as I should have done in the first place. I learned from an ex employee of McD the proper formula to use. I will never again be in a position to use it, though.

What has happened to this country? I worked at a fast food burger joint when I was a teen. I was immediately looking for the next job using the burger joint as a reference. I took small steps and sometimes less money to get to a job that lasted over 40 years. Everybody except the delusional “assistant manager” at that burger joint were looking forward to their next position. If they would have raised my salary by 50% I would still have been looking.
This is not news.
And the McDonald’s Corporation sucks.
They should move their corporate headquarters to Mexico or Pakistan. Nice cheap low wage labor.
People will have to transport them back and forth from the maintenance and refurb depots and others will work in the depots doing the fixing and refurbishing. These things aren’t (or shouldn’t be) disposable. Better jobs than what are there now.
Exactly right. I think this is illegal immigration taking our kids temporary jobs. My local Mickey D’s has all the apps in Spanish.
I actually had a funny experience last week at a McDonald’s. I went to drive through and ordered a unsweetened Iced Tea. They gave me sweet tea. No big deal but while I love sweet tea almost as much as Uncle Si, Jack, I wanted unsweetened.
So I parked and went inside. As the girl was handing me my new tea, she thanked me for coming in and not being a “meanyface” about the mistake.
Never heard that one before but it was pretty funny.
Eventually we are all going to 3D print our own food ...... Utopia here we come. ////s
