ABC has already emphasized that this happened in the “South,” and that the South has a history of hate groups. ABC is jumping to conclusions and relating them to the past without any evidence, other than the perpetrator appears to be “white.”

Although I tend to agree with your sentiment, I’d rather him survive and for us to find out his true motivations given the one survivor indicated a racial component to this.
