The investigation of the suspected arson at the Church of the Loaves and Fishes Thursday morning was transferred to the West Bank nationalist crime department, following suspicion that it was nationalistically motivated and a hate crime.

Israel is the only country in the entire region where there is freedom of worship in a Democracy. All of Israel's neighbors either torture or kill you in horrendous ways.
This is a bad event and hopefully Israel will pursue them to Justice.
Israel bashers will say, “See, I told you so” but that is not the Israel any of us know or want to see.

It is reported that the Israeli police have been given instructions to make the investigation a high priority matter.
Yes, this is true. I hope they seriously punish the stupids.

It is forbidden to allow idol worshipers to settle in the Holy Land. Plus in 'Eretz Yisra'el it is a mitzvah to actively seek out and destroy idols (outside Israel an idol is to be destroyed when encountered).

According to friends in Israel this kind of thing happens all the time. It rarely gets into the news.
Baloney. It’s rare and trumpeted at the highest of volumes.
Unlike any neighboring nation, however, the perps will be found, prosecuted, and put in prison.
