Longtime Democratic strategist Bob Shrum said on MSNBC Friday that he “cannot imagine the horror that could’ve unfolded” if churchgoers were armed during the recent massacre in Charleston, South Carolina.

“I cannot imagine the horror that could’ve occurred if people were sitting around with concealed weapons, this thing started and you had a full-scale gunfight,” Shrum said Friday. “You might not even have three survivors.”

To prevent this sort of thing one or two parishioners need to be anonymously armed and there should be a visible notice to that effect in front of the church. That will not deter moslems intent on jihad nor will anything else. "Protected by Smith, Wesson, and Ruger" should do it.

There were nine people killed and three that survived: The shooter, a girl who played dead, and a woman he spared to pass his message on to the authorities.
How could it have been any worse? He caps the minister. The guy on the other side of him caps him. Two dead, the murderer and the minister. All eight of the others killed would have survived.
The only way in which it could have been worse is if the two survivors were also killed and the Dyl-Ann Roof survived and was NOT apprehended.
