The Pope joins the EU in a sad world of make-believe
The Telegraph ^ | June 20, 2015 | By Christopher Booker

Posted on 06/20/2015 8:17:45 PM PDT by Brad from Tennessee

What has a Papal Encyclical calling on the world to end its use of fossil fuels and to pray to God for the success of the global “climate summit” in December got in common with the Greek euro crisis, the ominous rift between the West and Russia, and the shambles Europe is making over the desperation of African and Syrian refugees to find safety this side of the Mediterranean? They are all different aspects of the two greatest acts of political make-believe of our time, so all-pervasive that it is hard for us to grasp just how much effect they are having on all our lives.

When future historians come to look back on our age, few things will puzzle them more than the extent to which our politics became so dominated and bedevilled by two belief-systems, each based on an obsessive attempt to force into being an immensely complicated political construct which defied economic, psychological and scientific reality.

One of these was the peculiar way in which Europe’s politicians, with full support from the US, had set out to unite their continent under a form of supra-national government unlike anything the world had seen before. The other was the way those same politicians fell for the idea not just that human activities were disastrously changing Earth’s climate, but that by taking the most drastic measures they could somehow change it back again.

Although for quite a time these two belief systems seemed to carry all before them, each was essentially based on a fantasy view of the world; and it is in the nature of trying to act out a fantasy that it must eventually overreach itself, to the point where it collides unpleasantly with reality. . .

Not any kind of ‘make believe’. This Pope has joined the new world order oligarchy to drive home the globalist agenda. It has nothing to do with environment or caring about people. It has everything to do with acquisition of more globalist power for the Vatican.

Fossil fuels are the best thing to happen to mankind. The Pope really blew it. Very sad.

It’s sad that the Pope believes that God is not in control.

Catholic Charities receives BILLION$ per year from the US government.

They do the work of the administration. They set up illegals and “refugees” into housing, food, etc. They teach them how to sign up for welfare.

Example: Catholic Charities of Maryland received $109 million in government grants, etc., this past year. There are Catholic Charities organizations all around the nation. They’re professional grant writers receiving billions of taxpayer dollars. They’re undermining the will of so many Americans. They’re doing it all under the good name of Catholic Charities.

Yep. I have a place called “Hope Community Center” near me and I am sure I saw a Homeland Security bus headed towards that place last July when they were offloading their continuous invasion of illegals.

The historical church never was quite the same since it flew into the arms of Caesar.

The Protestant revolution was at least a chance to reset this; in practice it often fell into the same folly. But it’s been learning.

“The historical church never was quite the same since it flew into the arms of Caesar.”

I am confused by your statement. Ceasar died 44 B.C.

I’ve seen the numbers; they are through the roof. More than any other “charity” though Southwest Key Programs which provides the same types of services for illegals and helps them get support and financial aid in the U.S. Southwest Key Programs was founded by Dr. Juan Sanchez, a La Raza board member.

The article reads........”When future historians come to look back on our age, few things will puzzle them more than the extent to which our ‘politics’ became so dominated and bedeviled by two belief-systems, each based on an obsessive attempt to ‘force into being’ an immensely complicated political construct which defied economic, psychological and scientific reality.”.....

They couldn’t be cooking up this construct if the public wasn’t already primed for deceptions and illusions. Along with this is the rush ‘to create’.... “Global Citizens”.

Check this out MHGinTN......Interesting that’s it’s via Arabic....

....”Houston district opens ‘Arabic Immersion School’ to create ‘Global Citizens’..”......

Quote...”they will learn to speak Arabic as they learn “to be truly Global Citizens.”

Catholic Charities is well known as a slush fund funneling millions of dollars in public subsidies to subsidize political leftward groups in the immigrant serving, advocacy and lobbying business....and any other lobbying group they choose to fund.

“Kick back revenue” says it well.

He does not want to pay the same price for gas as everyone else, letting capitalist pricing increase naturally thenprice of gas thus reducing consumption naturaly. He wants the cheap price so he can waste it. He is against all forms of self control and natural predator-prey control. They talk nature, but they load the dice for the predator who will devour it all without opposition.

If you do not know what Caesar means in the context of Christianity, I suggest you read in the gospels.

I am confused by your statement. Ceasar died 44 B.C.

The original Julius Caesar did die in 44 BC. But from the time of the first emperor, Augustus, onward, the title "Caesar" was adopted by all Roman emperors. Thus what was originally a man's name became a symbol for supreme power in Rome and, by extension, anywhere in the world. The phrase "render unto Caesar..." simply means to grant to the government those powers which rightfully belong to government.
