There are people who have never fired a shot in their life who do not hesitate to declare how many bullets should be the limit to put into a firearm’s clip or magazine. Some say ten bullets but New York state’s recent gun control law specifies seven.
Virtually all gun control advocates say that 30 bullets in a magazine is far too many for self-defense or hunting — even if they have never gone hunting and never had to defend themselves with a gun. This uninformed and self-righteous dogmatism is what makes the gun control debate so futile and so polarizing.

Why do the police have more than that? And how many times do you read about a group of cops shooting many dozens of rounds to down a perp? If I am exercising self defense with a 30 round magazine and I only need 7 or less fine, but I wouldn't like the idea of running out and needing more.
This argument is not about public safety—It’s about disarming US citizens to allow the Left to force their worldview on the population without risk to themselves.
Seems “they” are simply believers in the “Nanny State” and probably grew up playing with Barbie Dolls!
I grew up playing with fishing rods and guns. Same went for my children and grandchildren.

When the left, globalists, nwo, etc, feel that they have enough control over the high tech portions of the military, and law enforcement, they won’t have to pry them from ‘cold dead hands’ (they may be too contaminated anyway). Will freedom fighters have to sleep while wearing gas masks? (drones can be pretty quiet).
You see, the evil ones in power don’t really care about loss of life of others, even some of their like minded sheeple. As long as their value of human life is minimal, they will use WHATEVER means they choose. Rules are for others, not for them. Be it chemical, nuclear, or conventional, they will be willing to go double u emm dee, on entire areas to exert complete control. Their accomplices in the msm will make any such conflict look as though it wasn’t their fault. The ‘tare or ists’ had to be stopped, don’t ya see?
I’m quite aware of the nature of the evil we face. There are preparations for even that level of evil.

In all due respect to Mr. Sowell, I would say ‘gun control’ AIDS and ABETS the criminals, not simply protects them.
