Guest-hosting The Rush Limbaugh Show last week, I mentioned an outrageous and very direct assault on free speech by the Government of the United States. As I said on the air, federal prosecutors are demanding Reason, the libertarian mag, cough up any identifying information on readers who posted comments in relation to the Silk Road case.
That was the trial in which the Silk Road drugs impresario, Ross Ulbricht, wound up being sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. This would not happen, obviously, in Sweden or New Zealand or anywhere else, but even by the standards of American courtrooms it was unusual: Judge Katherine Forrest gave Ulbricht a tougher sentence than the prosecution had asked for. Commenters at Reason, who aren't big on the "war" on drugs, were unimpressed by Judge Forrest:
Its judges like these that should be taken out back and shot.
It's judges like these that will be taken out back and shot. FTFY.
Why waste ammunition? Wood chippers get the message across clearly. Especially if you feed them in feet first.
Why do it out back? Shoot them out front, on the steps of the courthouse.
I hope there is a special place in hell reserved for that horrible woman.
There is.
I'd prefer a hellish place on Earth be reserved for her as well.
F*ck that. I don't want to pay for that c*nt's food, housing, and medical. Send her through the wood chipper.

I knew a Federal Judge who had every package addressed to her x-rayed because of threats against her life.
While the posters were probably just blowing off steam they may have picked on a judge who had already received threats, and that can get you a visit just like making a threat against a President.
But read the article. Perhaps it is appropriate that goons who abuse their authority be put on notice. Of course, threatening folks is illegal but so is abusing that authority.
I’m not saying that the posters don’t have a right to be angry and express it. Just that making a threat, or what looks like one, against a Federal Judge can get you more attention than you want. Some of that reaction is because Judges do receive threats that are very real, the Unabomber kind.
There were no threats made; that issue was clearly addressed by the article. Read it and see.
Thank you for mentioning the Unibomber and the comparison bears reflection! Look how the libtards and the media (redundant, I know) spun that. “While his actions are reprehensible we need to seriously consider the relevance of the issues that motivated him.”. Were the media truly to make an effort to be unbiased they might just consider going back and filling in some potholes on stories like Channon Christian and Chritopher Newsom. But then what happened to them wasn’t “news” apparently. Like I keep saying, you can find out quite a bit about someone by just listening to what they saying. It takes longer to realize just what it is they AREN’T saying but sometimes what they aren’t saying speaks volumes about them
Fine, then post stuff like “Its judges like these that should be taken out back and shot” if you want. It’s a free country, sort of.
I’m just saying it’s not a good idea because I know that this isn’t the first time that similar comments about a Federal Judge bring unwanted attention.
I can think of a couple of judges that I think deserve a wood chipper but I won’t be posting that idea next to their name on a public forum.
Here's the victims:
Cute couple. Just wasn’t “news” I guess.
Just like the Wichita Massacre. Another gruesome rape, torture and murder. Black on white, it’s just a guess if that’s the reason it didn’t get any national attention.

The goon and his assistant, are they on H1B’s?
We’ve entered an era akin to post-Napoleonic France where magistrates ruled without any oversight and regularly imprisoned political enemies without so much as a reason. The Count of Monte Cristo is illustrative of the sort of judicial indiscretion seen in this case.
I can only think back to the scene in the most recent movie rendition of the classic where Magistrate Villefort says to Dantes, “No, Dantes, it is you who is innocent. I wonder if by way of an apology I may offer you a ride?” After which point Dantes is taken to a jailer’s cart and hauled off to Chateau d’If. This whole thing with Reason is akin to the magistrate trumping up charges to put away people who had every right to say what they said.
May we live in interesting times.
The point I am trying to make is here we have these different, brutal massacres ( and for brutality, Root is a piker) but only Charleston demands national attention and the GOP has to dance a jig. It is sickening. And the GOP just goes along for it. Unwittingly, if they can’t start figuring it out they may end up precipitating theresurrection of the KKK not for racism but just to have SOME group tell the media to pound sand.
Wow. She looks just like my ex.
