EXCLUSIVE: Fox drops contract with Sarah Palin
Politico ^ | 06/24/2015 | Mike Allen

EXCLUSIVE: Fox News will not renew its contract with Sarah Palin, whose bombastic appearances have been a cable staple since the former Alaska governor’s failed run on John McCain’s ticket in 2007. When asked for comment, a Fox News spokesperson confirmed the network had amicably parted ways with the governor on June 1.

Palin, 51, is expected to make occasional guest appearances on Fox and Fox Business, and will appear on other networks and cables. She has a show on the Sportsman Channel, does a lot of speeches, and will announce a new publishing project soon.

When Palin was at her zenith, she made frequent appearances, and Fox installed a camera at her house. But executives consider her less relevant now, and her appearances were sometimes hampered by the vast time difference with Alaska. She remains a huge conservative force on Facebook, with 4.5 million fans – twice that of Rand Paul, who has the biggest reach in the 2016 field. She also has 1.15 million Twitter followers.

Palin’s Facebook page got a new look at midnight, including a new cover photo with a quote from her announcement speech in Dayton, Ohio: “I didn’t get into government to do the safe and easy things. A ship in harbor is safe but that’s not why the ship is built.”

She’ll remain heavily involved in GOP congressional and gubernatorial primaries for 2016, and many candidates have reached out to her. This week, SarahPAC is donating to over 40 candidates. She is currently out in the mail to several thousand SarahPAC donors with a half-hour documentary DVD detailing her impact on Republican politics over the past 3 cycles.

Gov. Palin did not do a ‘failed run’.

She was attacked by Romney and Rove and Wallace,
and, by gosh, the same people that run Fox “News”
which is an Obama-loving station.

Palin is past peak freshness when compared against the assorted young strippers employed by Fox.

bom·bas·tic ˌbämˈbastik/ adjective high-sounding but with little meaning; inflated. "bombastic rhetoric" synonyms: pompous, blustering, turgid, verbose, orotund, high-flown, high-sounding, overwrought, pretentious, ostentatious, grandiloquent; ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What Mike forgot to say is that she tells the truth a lot but nobody wants to hear it.

President Palin was my choice in 2008 and we were unfortunately saddled with Vice President McCain back then.

No surprise, as Sarah has been lowering her profile and Fox News is drifting ever leftward.

Maybe she just didn’t have enough sleeveless short dresses and didn’t want to wear the ones from Fox News Central Wardrobe.

She has not been relevant in this round of prospects.

I had not seen her on Fox for a while, and its pretty much on all of the mid day in my office. She could have been speaking up and out much more.

If she had been more “active” I think she would have maintained her edge. And perhaps she doesn’t like how Fox has gone lib-tard.

As much as I personally do no like her, she did speak for the very conservative wing of the spectrum. It is too bad.

But, I don’t think she’s done.

Alaska governor’s failed run on John McCain’s ticket in 2007.

Well they did not win, which was the point he meant to make, but look at the year.

I do not recall a presidential election in 2007.

I certainly used to try to tune in to FoxNews when I heard a Palin appearance was upcoming. But I’ve all but given up on FoxNews these days. It should be re-dubbed the KarlRove channel. And it seems to have just as much contempt for my beliefs and my values as all the other news networks nowadays.

One of the last times I watched it, all the talking-heads on the “Five” were all nodding along about being pro-amnesty, pro-fag marriage, pro-dope. I suspect if I tuned in yesterday, I’d get to see everyone on FoxNews happily spitting on the Confederate flag. To hell with them all.

If I were Palin....I’d go out to Arizona, and work my way up to being Senator. Give up any idea of the White House for a dozen years and just show some accomplishments rather than talking a lot.

I’ll miss hearing her sometimes screechy sounding voice on Fox News.

My, how easily we forget her accomplishments as governor, and as the voice of true conservatism since then.

Palin’s moved on ...and business is business...that’s all there is to this Fox move. She’s had her “run” with Fox and doing spot appearances makes perfect sense.

“Palin is past peak freshness when compared against the assorted young strippers employed by Fox.”

Come on! Even JT MacFarland and Liz Trotta aren’t past “peak freshness” enough to lose their spots on Fox News.

Or Alaska. But you are absolutely correct! A Senator Palin would have a permanent national stage. And a vote in Congress. And the ability to introduce legislation. It would be all good, and it would drive the libs crazy.

Some folks say Palin could do more on the outside. I disagree. She could still promote her favorite candidates and ideas while being in the Senate. Why not?

The real problem, I fear, is that Palin does not want to make the effort. But for the good of the country, she should.

It will be FNC's loss not hers.

Some reason for a duplicate thread?

Fox News was always “leftwing”-—controlled by the Saudis or the NWO-—and they “allow” the “right” opinions to do only SO much-—for the synthesis and “progression” to the Left. (Otherwise they would be silenced, destroyed or killed).

It is all part of the Dialectical Materialism——to “control” the rage of the Christians/Virtuous, as they are brought into a fascist, totalitarian state of “happy slavery”-—the plan of Fichte and Wundt and the Prussian system of education put in place in the 1800s. This is the end of the Marxh through ALL the Institutuions. They had all MSM by early 1900s to control your attitudes and emotions and get us into wars, etc..

Any person (like Kelly) who promotes such irrational, insane, unnatural, vile ideas like “homosexual” “marriage” are hard core Leftists, who want to destroy Christianity and Freedom of Religion. They want to destroy the minds (Reason) of ALL children and fill the courts with the destruction and outlawing of all Christian “thoughts” and the power to REWRITE the Bible.. They are fundamentally destroying the Constitution and its basis-—Natural Law Theory and God’s Laws——throwing it out for Stalinism-—or Marxism-—or Fascism (actually all three).

And worse-—they make our “Just Laws” IRRATIONAL....which destroys Just Law. We have Rule of Man now, and they KNOW it—including O’R.

Anyone who supports Common Core or the “public school” system is a Marxist-—same with “obamacare”-—etc.....all are for Marxism

There is no Freedom allowed with any of the above. NONE.
