I bet Trump keeps his assets on his side of the ledger and puts his debts into companies that end up bankrupt.

So you agree with the Obama trajectory? We should just believe everything a presidential candidate says, and not investigate? Trump is the One.

Let me count them up now:

1.) The Republicans gave Obama his trade bill.

2.) The Republicans are helping liberals in their cultural genocide of the South.

3.) Obama has gutted the American military

4.) Obama is destroying the United States

5.) Isis is cooking up new ways to torture Christians

7.) The Republicans have committed the most egregious betrayal of the country in history

8.) I could go on and on, and I am supposed to really care that Donald Trump might not cross all the t’s and dot all the i’s on some financial report. It is important to really care about the important things in life. What is causing this blight of nationwide stupidity?

You don’t approve of vetting presidential candidates?

Am I supposed to review Trump’s balance sheet and be able to make an informed evaluation? I assume the balance sheet has been or will be certified by the responsible authority. Probably about an equal number of “experts” can be marshaled to support any viewpoint, depending on whatever their view of Trump is.

In other words, you didn't research you own candidate and prefer to let the media or others do it for you.

Are you actually serious?

Okay, give me your research on Trump’s balance sheet, please. Not a link; what you, yourself, uncover. I will consider it. To be honest, I have never researched a candidates’s balance sheet, including Reagan. Now, as for Trump, if something is amiss, I have confidence his enemies will squeal real loud. He is not a Clinton. Also, enemies have a habit of squealing when there is nothing to really squeal about. So you have to factor that in.

Also, I have observed how some people construct their articles. I learned that from Rich Lowery over at National Review. Rich thinks up a line that he thinks is real cute, so he will write an article just so he can parade it out.
Now the guy who wrote the article in question. It was all about writing an article so that he could close with “you’re fired!!! That is all it amounts to. Trust me.

The fact that Trump obviously lies about his net worth is almost beside the point: it’s just another bit of evidence that he is an empty blowhard who will say anything to draw attention to himself.

You just gave perfect example of why Clinton and Obama were elected. Did you vote for Clinton and Obama? Vote for a certified liar and see what you get.

He is not a Clinton.

He is Clinton with less intelligence and more buffoonishness. I have confidence his enemies will squeal real loud.

1. He is not really running.
2. If he was running, the media would chearlead him all the way to the nomination. Once the general election commenced, then they would unleash all the info. Hillary would have a shot at getting 70%.

The author lays it out pretty clearly; the “financial report” he made available (not an official form and no proof that it’s been audited) shows extremely low debt-to-value ratios for his properties; well below anything that’s every been seen in real estate. Real estate developers typically operate at an LTV of around 70%, and the lowest I’ve ever seen is around 60%. Trump is operating at 2.4% (7.14/301.5) for new developments? No way. The only way I can think of to raise the level of capital needed for without issuing debt is to raise equity by pre-selling the units before commencing construction, and a quick Google search does not reveal any examples of Trump doing that.

In other words, a cursory glance at his numbers raise a number of red flags, suggesting that he severely overestimated his assets and/or severely underestimated his liabilities.

“You just gave perfect example of why Clinton and Obama were elected. Did you vote for Clinton and Obama?”

If you have the time, I would like for you to explain, based on what I posted, just how, exactly, you derived that conclusion and that question. I will help you. First, it would be impossible for me to check into Trump’s financial balance on my own. Second, generally acceptable accounting principles govern financial disclosures and the certifier himself has to be certified. Third, people who do not like Trump will pick it apart; I predicted it would; how would I know who is lying? People withhold here and exaggerate there. You also would have to assume that Trump would put his best foot forward. That is normal for most humans.

"Okay, give me your research on Trump’s balance sheet, please. Not a link; what you, yourself, uncover. I will consider it. "

LOL!

You must be drunk. He's your candidate; it's your responsibility to do your own research. Get off your lazy, low-information behind and do it.

"Now, as for Trump, if something is amiss, I have confidence his enemies will squeal real loud."

Why would only his enemies object? Why wouldn't YOU? Are you so caught up in this liberal blowhard's cult of personality that you're willing to dismiss his black marks?

Well, that question has already been answered, though. Of course you are...after all, you're supporting a liberal Democrat.

“If he was running, the media would chearlead him all the way to the nomination.”

I don’t watch Jimmy Fallon much at all, but I did last night. Fallon barbed Trump twice, and I only watched his show for about 25 minutes. The late night hosts all do it. Now, if Hillary gets the nomination, it will be because the Republican candidates are too cowardly to reveal and expose what she has done. Have you heard any say a word about her, except Trump? Has Cruz opened his mouth about her? Cruz lambasted the Washington cartel last night, but he didn’t name names. Hillary would serve as the poster boy for that. The media will never cheer lead Trump.

“You must be drunk. He’s your candidate; it’s your responsibility to do your own research.”

So you admit you haven’t investigated Trump. Then why did you jump to embrace what that guy wrote in his article. You have no clue as to whether he is telling the truth or lying. Who is low information?

“Why would only his enemies object? Why wouldn’t YOU?”

Do you twist meanings on purpose? I did not say or imply that ONLY his enemies would object. But in politics, it is truly like sharks smelling blood in the water. Obviously, if his enemies find something, they would know long before me and they would make some noise. It is like the media investigating conservatives; sometimes they actually do find things, then they raise hell, but will cover for liberals. Remember, I said “squeal real loud...if something is amiss.” I have no earthly way to ride herd on Trump.

"So you admit you haven’t investigated Trump."

I've done quite a bit of research on Trump. The results proved without a doubt that he is a liberal Democrat. I've posted them on the forum many times.

But I'm not about to do so again because some lazy low-information Cruz birther who has not even bothered to research HIS OWN CANDIDATE demands to see them.

What kind of loser throws his support behind a candidate without knowing what & who he is?

“...lazy low-information Cruz birther...”

The Constitution, in delineating the restrictions on qualifications for president, had about two, one of which was the person had to be a “natural born” citizen. The Constitution was adopted in 1789. The Naturalization Act of 1790 defines what a “natural born” citizen is:

“The Act (Naturalization Act of 1790) also establishes the United States citizenship of certain children of citizens, born abroad, without the need for naturalization: “the children of citizens of the United States that may be born beyond Sea, or out of the limits of the United States, shall be considered as natural born Citizens: provided, That the right of citizenship shall not descend to persons whose fathers have never been resident in the United States”.

I’m sure, based on what you have said, that you have
researched Cruz’s background. Could you explain how you wiggled around the cited portion?
