America’s national parks are no longer selling Confederate battle flags in their bookstores and gift shops.
The National Park Service (NPS) announced on Thursday that the historic emblem will no longer be available as a memento for visitors to the parks system.
“We strive to tell the complete story of America,” said NPS Director Jonathan B. Jarvis in a statement. “All sales items are evaluated based on educational value and their connection to the park.

Actually, I figured it out on a visit to Shiloh a couple of decades ago.

‘Cooter’s Place’ owner from The Dukes of Hazzard said that his stores will stop selling the Confederate flag “when hell freezes over”. He made a great statement on it.
It appears the FedGov is asking all vendors on federal land to cease selling Confederate flags.

There is a statue of General Lee that stood on private property at Antietam. The Park Service bought the farm and has said in the past that they have no plans to remove the statue (the farmer had put it there to begin with BECAUSE there were no such statues at Antietam).
I am betting the Park Service will soon announce they are removing the statue
