U.S. presidential candidate and real estate mogul Donald Trump filed a $500 million lawsuit on Tuesday against Univision over the Spanish-language TV network's decision to end its contract to broadcast the Miss USA pageant, which is co-owned by Trump.
Univision said last week it would not air the July 12 pageant because of what it called insulting remarks about Mexican immigrants made by Trump when he announced he was running for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.
The 19-page lawsuit accuses Univision of a "thinly veiled attempt" to stifle Trump's freedom of speech in order to boost Democratic frontrunner Hilary Clinton. The network's principal owner, Haim Saban, is a Clinton fundraiser, according to the lawsuit.

I believe he said he is going to sue NBC as well.

I think he also understands that normal Americans really resent the way the alphabet networks keep their thumbs on the scales for leftists in all politics. Anybody who is an enemy of (especially NBC) is a favorite of conservatives.
I think either he is acting like a fool or making a mockery of us.
I think Trump will win, and I’ll enjoy following it....but has he bothered to mention either of the nation threatening Supreme Court rulings from last week....or is it all about him?
Trump may win big against Univision, but he is going to look petty and un-Presidential in the eyes of the majority of voters.

Yes, sure. And The Donald, by attacking Univision, will have written off an even larger percentage of the Hispanic vote than the GOP normally manages.
Nearly everyone commenting has the same “winning” attitude as Trump...screw the Hispanics....
That strategy cost us California about 20 years ago which might be the real reason things have gone badly for the GOP since.
Meanwhile, Trump has illustrated exactly why his foreign policy will probably be even worse than Obama’s and that’s saying something.
