I moved right into skipping the first sleep, and I am fixing to go to bed now. (bout 4:00 AM)
I also only eat once per day about 7:00 8:00 PM
I wake at about 8:00 - 9:00 AM
Add Coffee = Instant Human
Sometimes I can’t fight off the Sleep Monster at about 9:00 PM (after I eat) and if that happens I sleep until 6:00 AM
I prefer the 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM sleep pattern
Gnight
TT

Naps are the BEST.

The best napping days are when the rain is falling (a bit of thunder is even better), or at the cottage, when the breeze is blowing in and the lake is a bit noisy.....lovely.

Sometimes it’s not so bad being a little older.

Mitzi Gaynor’s voice may have been dubbed. If Brazzi’s singing was dubbed, they did a fine job of matching it with his speaking voice. They’re identical. And if it was dubbed, the singer had a frenchified accent exactly like Brazzi’s. I think it was real. JMHO.

Thanks. South Pacific is one of my faves. I first viewed it when in Japan in Uncle Sam’s Army at a theater in Yokohama in 1960. I was smitten. I walked around humming “Bloody Mary” and “Nothing Like A Dame” and “Some Enchanted Evening” and “Honeybun” for a week. I still view it about once a year on a VHS tape and my old VCR.

I first saw it when I was 10 -1958, at the Tamalpais theatre in San Anselmo CA . I even remember what I was wearing. I begged my mother to let me buy a pair of white shorts just like Mitzi wore. Somehow she found a pair similar and that summer I wore those shorts everyday. I still know all the words to all the songs. Oh, did I say I had the record, I wore out from playing? The things we remember from our youth.

Giorgio Tozzi did the singing for rozanno Brazzi in South Pacific. Going to get out my DVD and watch it this weekend. Way to old now to wear white shorts. :))
