YOUGOV polls by profiles derived from previous polls, i.e. it asks “are your views closer to Democrats or Republicans?”
If you say Independent it asks “are your views closer to Democrats or Republicans?”
It gets the results it wants.

Not sure if I believe these polls. People use polls to lie or stretch the truth doncha know. Anyway, these are not the hills to die on ... It is illegal entry of foreigners into our country. Closed borders, ending illegal entry of foreigners is a homeland security issue, a gov budget issue for human services, housing, and education funds and a crime issue. Ilegal entry of foreigners into our country is a much broader issue.
