NASCAR is the latest corporation to distance itself from Donald Trump.

On the same day one of its top sponsors called on NASCAR to take a stance against Trump, the motorsports series said it will not hold its season-ending awards ceremony at the Trump National Doral Miami.

"We looked at everything we saw coming down and what we heard from our sponsors and our partners and what we feel we should be doing, and that's what led us to the decision today," NASCAR spokesman David Higdon said Friday at Daytona International Speedway.

Trump's spokesman, Hope Hicks, declined to comment to NBC News Friday..

I think the corporate stench is affecting both political parties at this point, unfortunately. A big case in point happened back in March.

Watching those “Conservative Christian Republican” Governors Mike Pence of Indiana and Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas fold like cheap suits on First Amendment religious freedom laws for gay marriage objectors under pressure from the likes of Apple and Wal-Mart pretty much told the story of who’s really running this country.

But NASCAR itself has already caved regarding the Confederate flag. Their beef with Trump isn’t about his views on the Confederate flag, but about his views on illegal immigration.

Who cares about Nascar and their cookie cutter fake cars?

Wake me up when they get back to minimally modified 1972 Monte Carlos.

So you think most NASCAR fans are offended by Trump’s comments on illegal immigration? I think you’re mistaken, my friend.

I had no idea NASCAR was so popular among illegal Mexican Immigrants.

We saw the White House in the rainbow colors the day after the decision came down by the SCOTUS. Let me ask you this: How long did it take to have the White House set up with the rainbow of colors? It was no simple light bulb change and they were brighter than the usual lights. It was planned months in advance. This illustrates how the fix was in on the decision. This gay agenda is being railroaded on American culture.

What fans of Trump are fans of NASCAR?
Why else did you post the thread?

You contradict yourself with your own lunacy.

Trump will do ok, unless he loses the support of Hair Club for Men. Then you will see some dramatic changes in his campaign.

NASCAR has distanced itself form those who have historically been the backbone of its fans.....now it is catering to left-wing pussies.

Does NASCAR think the people they are pandering to give a rip about them or NASCAR or would even come to a race and support the sport? The people they are pandering to wouldn’t support the sport unless they start running ghetto cruisers riding on low pros filled with 28 plus size women wearing size 8 clothes twerking out the windows around the track. Is that what they want? And going around the track at about 5mph or less going VOOOOOOOMMMMMM, VOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM, VOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!! Apparently it’s all about who can go the slowest and make the most noise.

NASCAR will distance itself from anyone or anything if the oligarchs demand it. The France family has been milking the stock car racing fan base for a hell of a long time, the money and connections having long eclipsed any loyalty to Johnny Q. They recently played footsie with Jesse Jackson, they dare past the point of no return in the coordinated CBF mania, and today they are jumping ugly on Trump. Just lovely… and - as always - totally uninfluenced by the usual high-level community organizing suspects, I'm sure. Regardless of what anyone thinks of Trump, it ought to make them uneasy.

When (not if) the word comes down from Mount Soros (or wherever) for NASCAR to go full-blown gay, NASCAR will become fabulous. I suspect that if word comes down from the White Dacha for NASCAR to reach out to Islam, NASCAR will become halal. NASCAR will now apparently be whatever the PTB wants it to be, and if the average racing fan doesn't like it… well, that's just too bad; NASCAR doesn't exist to make the average racing fan happy (though they do like their money). Just as with the Republican Party, NASCAR doesn't much care for the "icky people" who helped make them successful anyway, so what's one or two more slaps in the face to the rubes?

Maybe the fans will beep taking the insults and keep coming. I lost any interest in NASCAR a long time ago, and for reasons less important than their current PC nonsense.

It very much is but by whom. In my previous post I cited the corporate forces and the Republicans that caved.

In Alabama Governor Robert Bentley, Republican, said he could not go along with AL Chief Justice Roy Moore’s legal interdiction of a district judges ruling in favor of gay marriage because he was afraid of Alabama losing jobs.
