Cruz: Trump’s Bold Focus On Immigration Exposes Gop ‘Washington Cartel’ Attitude
Breitbart ^ | 7/5/2015 | Pam Key

Sunday on “Meet the Press,” Republican presidential candidate Sen. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)96% said Donald Trumps comments about Mexico sending it’s criminals to the Untied States were “bold” and “brash,” but put a needed focus on the many Republicans who support the Chamber of Commerce and Wall Street’s cheap labor immigration push. “I am a passionate advocate for legal immigrants,” Cruz said. “I am the son of an immigrant who came legally from Cuba and I’ll tell you, from the day I started campaigning I traveled the state of Texas talking about how all of us, we are the children of those who risks everything for freedom, that immigrant experience of all of us is what makes us Americans, because we value in our DNA liberty and opportunity above all else. Now when it comes to Donald Trump, I like Donald Trump. he’s bold, he’s brash.

I think they are......

They are alone so far....about 6 of the folks have jumped the other way....and are “embarrassed” and “outraged” and so on.

Wonder where Carly, Walker, Santorum, etc, will end up on this.

The GOP and RNC are wholly owned subsidiaries of The Cheap Labor Express. They have accepted millions of dollars to keep the borders open and the laws unenforced.

The light is making the cockroaches scurry.

Trump said some ILLEGAL immigrants from Latin America are criminals.. too many but not all. And the too many, IIRC, is the doing of the respective Latin American governments.. kind of like how Castro's Mariel boatlift got Jimmah Carter.

Latin American country gets Carter.. Castro's Mariel boatlift: a large number were psycho criminals

.. Latin American governments join the fun today

Two presidents two reactions

The more Cruz and Trump distance themselves from the GOP the better. The GOP is corrupt and does not represent conservatives in any way, shape or form.

Is Cruz the only republican to back Trump up regarding our open borders?

It appears so.

Maybe Cruz and Trump will tag team in the debates and mop the floor
on the rest of the clowns.

I hope every violent crime committed by an invader gets brought to the media forefront between now and election day.

And, trust me, there will be plenty.

For all the Trump bashers....

Cruz aside.....how is Trump any worse than the rest of the GOP candidates?

At least I think he would secure the border and wouldn’t cow to the Cheap Labor Express.

So tell me how he is any worse than the others candidates (by their actions...not their rhetoric)?

Maybe, but it's been my observation that money follows opinion - more often than opinion follows money. I know I've never given to any candidate or any cause I didn't already believe in.....with the exception of big moguls like Soros, I think that's true 99% of the time.

Yes only Cruz.

The others are sitting on the sidelines (un-POTUS worthy IMO) sticking fingers in the air and testing the direction the wind blows, others like Perry, Rubio, etc are on team NWO.

Legal versus illegal. Legal versus illegal. Three simple words people are having such a hard time comprehending. Why?

I think in some ways Trump is one of the best candidates - but I'm fairly sure that in the fullness of time, his non conservatism will surface again and sort of embarrass those who are ready to coronate him. I mean, he is who he is, and for the majority of 69 years, that's been a liberal leaning Democrat.

Trump has nudged the Overton Window on immigration in the direction of what is good for the USA rather than what is good for Mexico. We can shove it some more.

With 600 million people south of our porous non-existent southern border and untold millions outside the Americas who might also avail themselves of easy access, there can be only one immigration policy - take away the incentives to cheat the system and enter illegally. Stop giving prizes for illegal entry.

Any measure that permits those who entered illegally to benefit from that illegal act is amnesty.

This must be stopped.

Will you help stop this?

You can help:

Walker distanced himself from Trump as did Santorum. Haven't heard anything from Carly but she might have given a response.

All MSM can think to ask are two questions: what do you think about the Confederate (battle) Flag and it's ties to slavery and racism and "don't you agree that Trump's words insult all immigrants and people of color?"

That was a bad mistake by Walker I think. He’s still my second choice, but this is going to hurt him. I don’t think he realized how many conservatives were helping him to the top.

This throws him in with Jeb, Rubio, Graham, et al.

That inner Wisconsin liberal coming out....it’s in all of them I think from that state.
