They’ll probably want to name it after some treasonous, leftwing DemocRAT bass turd.

“I went to Woodrow Wilson High in Long Beach.”
Same here. Early sixties.
I note you are in MO. My family came from Hannibal to Long Beach in the thirties. Wife and I left Long Beach back in ‘87 after a lifetime there.
Riverside is OK. Much better than Long Beach other than we miss the ocean.

Wooooo!
Woodrow Wilson = Democrat racist
If they can jettison the name Robert E Lee,
a figure of the 19th Century then Woody definitely
has to go as well. Furthermore, FDR, the numerous uno
Rat hero refused to sign an anti lynching law in the
1930s. See ya ‘round Franky.

Just name it Karl Marx Reeducation School and get it over with.
This Country obviously has too much time on its hands.
There is a reason they call Liberals the Perpetually Offended. They will never stop, just like the Terminator.

Or, they could name it Isaac Huey Newton High
after a scientist and a Black Panther.
Clowns won’t even catch on.

a school in LA? Named Robert E Lee? They don’t deserve to have a school with that name in LA anyway. To change the name is no loss
To: Steelfish
General Lee was known historically as an honorable gentleman and brilliant American soldier. He is therefore unlikely to have anything in common with those currently trying to disown him. Comrade dictator obama is probably better suited to the unethical crowd.

Its California. Do you really need to ask that question!

This is not slavery related, but as a Caucasian-American, I am offended by the name of the Presidential residence.

I remember reading about how people suddenly became “unpersons” in the late Soviet Union. I’m beginning to understand how all of that works now.

Don't see why the school's name should be changed. After all, the Robert E. Lee for whom it is named didn't shoot anybody in Charleston, SC, in 2015. As far as I can tell, General Lee was completely uninvolved in this incident.
But, if it makes the rabble-rousers feel any better, they could rename the school...dropping the name of Robert E. Lee, the Confederate general, and substituting therefor the name of Robert E. Lee, the guy who built the local bowling alley, who is unrelated by blood or marriage to the other Robert E. Lee.
That should make everybody happy. ;-)
