I appears that the gun was stolen from an agents car in June.
I’m not an agent and I’ve never had a gun stolen from my vehicle.

This whole thing reminds me of a bad marriage. One where over the course of 7 years, the wife has shot the dog, sold the kid’s kidneys on ebay, burned down the house, drained the bank account to buy crack, and is now banging the neighbors in the front yard.
Some might say that such a marriage is beyond the reach of marital counseling.
It probably was stolen out of an agent’s car and it probably was found on the bench by the Mexican druggie-wino who kept getting deported.
Somebody was getting rid of it. I wonder how many other crimes it has been used in since it was stolen?
Dems complain about guns, but it’s not the legal guns that are the problem.
I’m not sure how you’re going to stop illegal guns under a Democrat regime. NYPD had a very successful “stop and frisk” program which probably prevented hundreds of homicides over the years, but the radical leftist De Blasio made them stop it...all the while, railing against LEGAL guns. They’re not the problem.
It’s stolen or smuggled guns in the hands of gangbangers and marginal losers like this guy that are the problem, but unfortunately it’s not PC to challenge those population groups.

He probably acquired the gun on one of his many trips back across the border.

Another story (sfgate in a different FR thread) said that the agent’s gun was stolen from his car. I believe that was in June.
Because its San Francisco, they were helping him make his defense, they will do anything to protect illegals
