Wow. Did anyone give him a good lecture about what he did? This is one thing about church that sometimes bothers me - nobody is ever accountable when they ask for and/or receive help.

I’ve seen several women get help with hydro bills, rent, etc., yet nobody asks them what they are doing with their money. They have those stupid plastic painted up nails, they are often in restaurants having dinner, or in the mall picking up something new, yet they receive help without questions. I don’t think it’s supposed to be this way.

Nah... someone found out they had a history of this type of behavior. I mean these people were 40 years old with 3 kids of various ages. You want to help, but there comes a realization that they require more than a hand up, it has to be a lifelong thing. All of us would help someone in trouble get past a tough time. But how do you commit to helping someone every month for 40 years? We can't do it as individuals, and the country can't do it as a state.

A friend told me later that poor people, depressed people, etc etc.... we want to help, but in reality they are like that most often because that is where they are comfortable. I'm not talking about people who have a medical problem, or lose a job, or some EVENT that causes a period of trouble. I'm talking about generational, life long status. Its where they are comfortable. Its what they know. Its easier to not work. Whatever the reason.... it is where they are comfortable.

Oh wait..............i'm one of those racist Whites, no bama phone for me and no car, just blame and shame. It blows me away, while struggling to keep going I see all these poor people with their top line phones and shiny new cars and all I can say is WTF!

I have a pretty low retirement income. Hubby on the other hand has a great retirement income. With the free solar and free cars I’m about ready to become ‘legally separated’ so that I can jump on this gravy train. Really getting sick of paying for it all.
