GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump is the leading choice among North Carolina Republican primary voters in a recent Public Policy Poll. Trump received 16 percent, while former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush received 12 percent.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker came in tied for second with Bush at 12 percent. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee was third with 11 percent. Dr. Ben Carson got 9 percent with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)80% . Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY)93% got 7 percent while Se. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)96% got six percent. Gov. Chris Christie received five percent. Carly Fiorina followed with four percent and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry had two percent.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)47% had one percent, as did Gov. Bobby Jindal, and former Sen. Rick Santorum. Gov. John Kasich and George Pataki were under one percent.
President Obama carried North Carolina in 2008, but Republican nominee Mitt Romney took it back in 2012.
“Trump’s favorability rating in North Carolina is 55/32, much higher than we were finding in national polls prior to his entry into the race. Trump’s really caught fire with voters on the far right- 66% of ‘very conservative’ voters see him favorably to only 24% with a negative view of him. Trump is polling particularly well with younger voters (29%) and men (20%),” Public Policy Poll (PPP) reported.
Bush had been the leader in the North Carolina polls, but is struggling to get the conservative vote.

I’m one of those broken glass voters in NC and I ain’t bee called yet this year.
That wasn’t support, it was name recognition.
If Trump wants to send the illegals home, he may have my vote... I have heard him talk about a wall, but nothing else..
I think Trump is revising the way elections are carried out, and that goes for the cliche about “peaking” too early. There is pent up frustration out there with Republican RINOs and people like Jeb! and Rove won’t know what hit them.

Not just conservatives. He’s drawing Independents and the Blue Dog Dems that also supported Reagan.
He can lose the far edges of both wings as long as he has the middle. He seems to be doing it.
Learn Spanish, do not display unapproved flags, expand government, give Communist China and Mexico more cash and prizes, raise taxes, fees, create more regulation, smuggle more arms to drug cartels and terrorist and get involved in more decades long multiple trillion dollar wars but never win them.
And my guess, is Blue Collar Democrat's, disaffected Republicans, and Independents as well.

Kuhner says.... He has people approaching him in his broadcast building ( even in the men's room LOL!) telling him, I don't always agree with you, but "The Donald" is resonating with them and they are interested in voting for him.
The E-GOP and the E-DNC have both screwed the pooch. They deserve every drop of the angst they are feeling....
