If a conservative doesn't agree with something, they just don't watch it, read it or participate it anymore and move on.

Lightnin’! What a great character.

I don’t think that show was any more demeaning to blacks than white TV sitcoms were to whites. E.g., Lightnin’ wasn’t any worse than Maynard G. Krebs. The characters were actually lovable with their human foibles.

My favorite TV comedy series, and the radio shows were great, too.
