Can in most states. Fleeing felon is another story. In Texas, at one time shooting trespassers was Ok.
In Arkansas, it’s probably Ok to shoot jaywalkers or ragheads.
My concern is two fold. Do you really, morally and ethically, want to shoot some 8 year old kid stealing your $600 TV (felony value) TV set?
On the other hand, if I owned a store in a riot situation, I would kill each and every rioter who entered through broken door, window.
Everybody gets the SEAL Special; a 2+1. 2 to the body, 1 to the head.
My other problem is, if you shoot an innocent person, either through a side miss, a downrange miss, or just shoot the wrong person, you have absolutely no defense.
That can ruin your whole evening.
